Indeed, there is no doubt about Pakistan's role in Mumbai terror attack, but as usual the minority communitiy and the so called intelligent people in majority community are trying to minimize the role of Pakistan. If you look at the comment made by Pakistan's Cricket Chief, Miandad after the Mumbai attack, anybody who has little common sense can realize that Dawood is behind this attach who has all probability been hired to carry out this bloody operation in India. If Australia could dare to skip Pakistan due to terrorism, then India should also be treated that way at any cost, and it could be the lead for Mumbai attack. It is an open secret of the relationship Miandad has with Dawood. No need Roy or Intelligence to look at any other possibility, they only need to concentrate what Miandad said about the Mumbai attack.

The worst barbaric activity took place on November 26 in Mumbai.If you go back to last year on December 26 we had sunami hitting us very badly.I think all of us as a country should be very careful on december 26 this year as it could be another date where terrorist can attack our country.

what you have said is absolutely right. first we have to fight idiotic politicians like amar singh who even went to the extent of calling the bathla house encounter in which a police inspector was killed as fake. it is these sort of politicians who ruin our country. policitians are only interested in making the maximum out of every given situation even if it is a terror attack. first we have to unite to fight the politicians and put them in their place and then the terrorist. only this way our country can be redeemed.
Such an operations cannot be carried out by handful of persons , there has to be many insiders involved who have given logistic support . Political parties have to investtigate this and not play the minority car all the time .
If any one is involved he has to be punished and unmasked

Govt. is blaiming Pakistan, can any one tell me from where this Pak has came. Pak is formed on the Indian Land by Indian Muslims. We have lost so many "Jawan" for Bangladesh & the Muslims of Bangladesh are paying back us through "HUji". We have spend lot of our national savings on Kashmir & in return Muslims of Kashmir have thrown away all Pandit from Velly & every day our "Jawans" are being killed there. Now we have a natinal target of maintaining communal Harmony. Well done

Why are no one blaming the media . The so called secular media like NDTV and CNN IBN are the worse kind. Cashing in on the eye balls on a grave situation like this (Rajdeep and Barkha acting as though they are reporting from Danger zone when every body knows that they are doing it from a protected cordon of Army and police) they conduct programmes just for the heck of it and brings all those idiots like Simi Grewal, Shoba De, kavita khanna, kunal kohli on panel to discuss about these. I dont know what does these idiots know about a situation like these. These people even dont represent 1% of Mumbai population.If this is not crap and insensitive thing then media dont have the right to comment or critisise on Ram Gopal varma and Ritesh deshmukh being present when CM was visiting Taj. I dont know what the big deal in this news , Anybody could have gone there and visited the site if they are not creating a problem with evidence and security.Moreover there where 55 people who lost life in CST on the same day due to firing. Media was not interested in that news. Media was more interested in TAJ and Oberoi as they are more glamourous and elite.

Yes, media is indeed worse. They never let anybody talk. They always want a media moment. SO, if you try to explain them with reason and logic, electronic media will never listen. I remember vividly, when Times Group has "modified" there business direction. Jain brothers said that they are no more in business of "news" but in business of "attracting advertisement". Who said media is pillar of democracy?
They regularly say that their professional associations are self-regulating. They need no laws, no policing, indeed no restriction at all. These people actually created hindrance in entire operation. Moreover, because of "breaking news", electronic media helped terrorists in knowing movements of Police. They are murderers. I don't know how they are above common man, police, Commandos, Politicians; Just every other human being! Their arrogance would put Hitler to shame. They are irresponsible, shameless and rude. All citizens should come together and choose representatives who will pass stringent laws against disproportionate media freedom. Mint says it's freedom of expression. Oh Yeah! Is broadcasting events irresponsible a freedom of expression? Nha! It's just news and broadcasting. It should never happen that media is always above law and be scot free, when every other citizen is supposed to be responsible. About Rajdeep Sardesai and Barkha Dutt; lesser talked the better. It's unfortunate that they are Indian Citizens. They are not even humans!

I colpletely agree with you.. The media should be blamed for some of the cosiquences faced by our security officials faced at Taj hotel or Nariman Point.. They showed all critical and secret information live on thir channels.. Even how many commandos were standing on which building etc. indire3ctly they were guiding terrorists .. Even when Mr Karakare (Chief of ATS) was approaching hotel Taj, they showed him and his colegues working live and I think thats the reson they failed to save their lives.
The media should be strictly kept away from such war zones / terrorist attacts untill it is fully handled by the NSG or other securtiy forces.
I strongly condemn the Media for some idiot actions they performed.
As far as resignations of Shivtraj Patil and RR Patil is concerned I think they should have done this a lot earlier. Or otherwise they should have prevented such a brutal attack.
At least now onwards P chidambaram should take some some real actions towards our internal security and show that India is capable of fighting against terrorism at any cost.
No one should be able to come in to our houses and kill us.
Dont blame others (Pakistani) sending terrorists to our country.. Even if they send them why cant we restrict them outside our boundaries?
Politician should know that now if they have to act now and stop only talking Just dressing up with new dresses every time is not sufficient they have to dress up with new thoughts now. Stop old thinking.

You seem to know nothing about reporting and are commenting like someone who knows it all! Do you know a press reporter was injured while covering the Taj? A friend and ex-colleague of mine covering the nariman house situation escaped bullets by inches! The reason why you know what happened in mumbai is beacuse of the media, you wouldn't be here expressing your opinion had the media not bee there. Finally these people were reporting from the Taj and Trident because that's where the encounter was happening, the terrorists ran away after their indescrminate shooting at VST...what were they supposed to report from there? I wish people like you appreciated the blessing of a free press. True the media doesn't follow it's role most of the times, but when it does appreciate instead of sitting back in your drawing room and making such misinformed and arrogant comments. My God? ONE reporter ESCAPED? There are 200 people who have been killed! Who needs a minute by minute coverage? Nobody is sitting in cozy environment of their bedroom. The news anchors are certainly sitting in an AC room. We do not need a running commentary. A blow-by-blow account? It's not cricket. Unfortunately, media thinks it so. But if you give a consolidated account in a thoughtful way, is will be just 1/2 hr. Then where channels will draw advertisements from? Even if one accepts for one moment that it's required to be shown a gun-shot by-gunshot account; why so many channels? What is the difference? Don't you feel bad about bragging "exclusive from this channel?" If one blames politicians for trying to take political advantage of this carnage, one should rightfully blame media for crass commercialization when people die in such incident. I will think thousand times before I say, "Dekhiye, bllod, gore or torture ka Aankhon Dekha hal! Sirf XYZ TV par! And then decide against it. This exclusive may be a very small part. And what about empty speculations and rumour-monging? Baseless, hasty reporting after a "bite" saying it's "exclusive", which creates havoc. Ask your conscience. Isn't it irresponsible? The anchors are ill-preoared and add hastily cooked, or half cooked questions about same thing. In many cases, they were actually trying to incite common man to create "news". It's utterly reprehensible, cruel and subhuman!

I appreciate that reporter's courage and his honesty towards his job. But unknowingly media does some wrong actions , which causes high amount of losses.

I am really surprised how the terrorists did not demand any ransom. The obvious could have been release of Saint Afzal Guru, Honorable Abu Salem. Sadhvi Monica Bedi and others and reward all of them with “ Padma Vibhushans” and “Padmashree”. I reliably learnt that “Ala Kamaan” was in constantly touch with those terrorists to make those demands. However our Daredevil soldiers foiled this attempt. Now the furious “Ala Kamaan” has decided to sack all those who participated in wiping out the terrorists and declare them as Anti Socials. It is decided that all the terrorists, their kins, their in laws, their local and foreign friends , all who provided them logistical support will be declared as Martyrs and Respected Citizens of this country. All of them will be given permanent suits in Taj and Trident at Government expenses and all will be provided free air and sea travel for life time so that then can visit all the towns in India to carry on this good work. This, “Ala Kamaan” feels will ensure them next 5 years. Jay Hind!
