OBC reservations are a fraud. Yadavs are Kshatriyas, there are well off they don't need reservations. Shankar Singh Wagela [former Gujarat Chief Minister is a kshatriya but he belongs to OBC. Thevars in Tamil Nadu are Kshatriyas, they are OBCs. Gujarat Chief Minister Modi is from the better off Ghachi community.
If a Jat has less than 1 crore assets he is considered a poor man among Jats. But Jats are OBCs.
Like Dalits OBCs are not discriminated people, so they don't need reservations.
My cook and sweeper at my home are Brahmins. So who is caring for poor Brahmins? I am not a supporter of Brahmins.
I am not against OBCs. But I oppose unfair benefits given to OBCs.
Caste system is an evil. To undo that evil they started this reservation system. Some really weaker and discriminated people do deserve reservations. But today unfortunately this reservations system has become a neo-caste system. So, today we are living with two evils: Caste system and the neo-caste system [reservations].
Even today our National Constitution has become a bundle of papers filled with hypocrisy. They keep on amending the constitution, and at a point of time, the only alternative left would be to destroy it. This can pave way to a dictator who will destroy this constitution.
I personally know some OBC communities who are 77% goondas, criminals and rapists. Instead of educating them to behave like humans, the govt is giving them reservations. This will breed only more GOONS.

Becasue they face certain social hindrances--they look down by OBCs [Dalits often say OBCs are harsher than upper caste people]. Similarly Dalits find it difficult to get private accomodation outside the campus. If the private landlords realise they rented their apartment to Dalits, they try to eject them out on some other pretext.

Democracy is buried today in India by the court and the government. Equality is given a go by. The 90% have turned against 10%. It is time upper castes awaken. Yes reservation is justified ..i will tell you why without any prejudice...please listen...my friend graduated from an engineering college Kumaon now in Uttarakhand (at that time it was in UP),please note Uttarakhand has 95% brahmins and thakurs and they are definitely socially backward,but you know my friend had to face four years of threat taunts even voilent advances by the local youth who had a point(i belive so)they said till these colleges are goverend by UP tech education they just cannt get admission as they can never score marks which an average guy could score from UP plains!reason very obvious they dont have the educational facility or competetive atmospehere in the hills hence no exposure, so they fought for independance and they created uttarakhand now they have their own uttarakhand tech board which evaluates the local students capabilities and allocates the selection criteria which is WAY WAY lower than UP tech education criteria, forget about IITs, but remember now Uttarakhand engineering students 95% are brahmins and thakurs and they are paasing out every year are they all mediocre students?So if you oppose reservation since it is going to degrade skills then technically hey should'nt be given jobs with their brotherns who have a higher cut off selection criteria at UP engineering colleges creating uttarakhand and then lowering your selection criteria to zero to enable local youth (forward caste) to become an engineer or doctor by profession is it justified

Treat all equally no racial discrimination. Caste based reservation promotes schism, no competitiveness, dishonesty and ineptness. It has already damaged our society. Create need-based quota system. Allow poor people to taste the richness. In the current paradigm, poverty remains but the poor people are getting eliminated. Talents are not limited to higher or lower castes or any religion for that matter. It is God gifted. Dont waste human values and talents in the name of castes. It is inhuman as it is racial.
I dont understand why such hue and cry over reservation.
India today is flourishing on pvt enterprise which in theory more or less values merit. So if you are a quotawala you have little chances of getting hired by pvt cos.
Sure you can go to IITs and other engg colleges but what good is a degree if you cant find a job.

Mr Rao, that is what we are also saying. All the OBCs oppressed the dalits earlier but they are claiming to be oppressed and getting the reservation benefit. The rickshaw puller's son or paanwala's son's education by reservation is not grudged by anyone.
Oneof my family friend is a Chief Manager in Hindustan Aeronautics (HAL). He belongs to Scheduled caste. He came from one of the very backward village, did his Engineering in 1972, he was the first in his cast to do that(in the whole district) He did not used his SC status during studies but with hard work and his teachers (Brahmin) support. He did not used this quota for his sons either..
Adding to this glory, his 2 sons also such challenging peole, they became Engineers, one is in USA anther in UK.
I have kept his photo in my house and salute him almost every time I see that.
In my view he is supposed to be a Idol & model for all these quota seekers.
At this glorious moment i bow to H'onable Supreme's Court's decision give reservation in institutions of higher education and welcome it whole heartedly,it seems centuries of unfulfilled dreams are finally coming true and at the same time i demand all SC/ST/OBC should unite to declare brahms,kshtriyas,vaishyas, forward caste as foriegners and outsiders in India as proved in history text books taught all over India.Only those can stay who welcome supreme courts decision rest can leave India from today itself...if you dont fall in line...you are not welcome here...Quit India now..you came as refugees from Iran ...we will respect your refugee status only when you behave like a refugee dont ask for more, live happily with what you have otherwise we will kick you real hard as we are doing it everyday...we are kicking ass!!!Thanks a million to Supreme Court.

I donot know about glory I will say this day should be celebrated as the worse day of India till their is reservations for doctors operating on ministers, judges etc.
if their should be a reservation then their should be a deservations going on that is if a person do MBA from IIM etc his whole family should lose their reservation status (obviously starting from him not his parents) as they will be making in crores,
also if a person is able to pay 12 lakh for a course do he need to be reserved

I agree with your first point, ie, these OBC quota benefitted doctors should made doctors for All bureocrats and Ministers. exellent one.
However, Iam not pro-Quota for any casts/relligion. Let govt provide them free education and cloths/food subsidy. But selection must be based on merit only.
World is watching us,very quickly the our prestigious institutions will loose its value.
Another thing is, If quota is made, it should be made compulsory 80% in institutuions of politicians/ex-politicians,,,,
Hahahahahah... will they agree? Surely these judges will reject such pettition in court!!!
