India was ruled by OBCs for most part of its history.... so nothing really new. It was british rule that saw the ascendance of FCs and that is also ended already.

its shame we don't have child education policy .... but an arbitrary 27 % (how do you reach this number) seats reserved for ADULTS (mediocres) in elite institutes .... its like demoralizing hard working and intelligent students .... I remember during senior secondary school all SC engineering aspirants .... never looked for below Electrical eng. in IIT .....other government colleges were like below there level .... the reason was not self confidence or ability but reservation~!
I want to know why there is a competition for backwardness... Perhaps India is the only place where there is competition for backardness...So much effort for being recognised as a backward...save the time for competing rather than begging....Beggars

Its human psychology. Everone wants to be superior to the other. This psychology is the root to all evil. The solution is only a STRONG leader. A leader who will stand in the middle of all this crap and control people with strong decisions. We need a good justice system too, but I doubt our justice system. After all the justice system is also made of people and people discriminate. We need a better police system, I doubt this system too. We have seen in Bihar how police belonging to one cast behave with people from other cast. We just need better people. Our key lies there! And in todays India IT IS IMPOSSIBLE. Its good to say impossible is nothing, even impossible says I M possible. But the reality is "impossible" does exist.

Most Kshatriyas and Vaishyas get classified as OBCs. In TN for example OBCs are erstwhile rulers.
In Bihar, traders get classified as OBCs. Same story in Gujarat.

Actually TamilNadu is a nice place. The state has more temples than all of India put together. The average Tamil lower middle class person is deeply religious and patriotic. But the politicians of ruling class are criminals who loot the state and have separatist thoughts.

I heard an news about the institute (Super 30) in Bihar, every year they pick 30 students who belongs to very poor family and almost 25 of them is selected for IIT every year from there institute. While in news the person was very simple.
I was very surprise by that and after reading all these cast and reservation. I think we need many more such kind of institute which will develop the comparative student. I believe knowledge does not belong to cast.
By these reservations actually government is humiliating the deserving candidate who belongs to lower grade or lower cast. Government himself putting a stamp of reservation and cast on there head.
Till now every person who came out of IIT, IIMS and AIIMS are treated equally. Now after these discrimination start automatically. So government is not helping.
Government needs institute which make them ready for competitive world. They should provide them interest free loans during studies which should be paid off after they get a job. This money will help others too.
Cast system reservation will not help any body. This will help only politician to get votes.
