I think he should be freed immediately with a warning
by moral police on Sep 13, 2007 12:11 PM  | Hide replies

he and afzal guru must be freed and be given a stern warning to complete their unfinished job.
they should be encouraged to carry out one more attacks on parliament so that they can cleanup the shit (read politicians ) as soon as possible. they should be warned that if they don't succeed this time they will be hanged immediately. if they succeed then they must be awarded bharat ratna for doing a great job.
Also commandos must be told that they should shed their life to defend the nations and not the traitors shitting in parliament.

Why was Kalam delaying this verdict? Is it because he want to teach in University after his retirement? Teaching at univ. after reaching the pension age (indian law).... ha ha... is it not a violation of the law?

Kalam had given the documents to Union Home Ministry for their remarks. Under the constitution, President first asks for opinion from the Govt and then takes a decision (this could be his own and not the Govt's). But the Union Ministry fellows under Sonia/Manmohan purposely delayed resending back with their recommendations to Kalam and thus Kalam got the bad name because of them.

This has been clearly stated by Kalam in his interview. People should know the process before writing nonsense comments.

If we "Assume" that it was not Kalam's fault for the delay in decision making for Afzal, there are about 50 cases, where he did not make a decision, during his tenure. In fact about 10 of them, he inherited from the previous president. What does a president of India do ful time, when he / she is not addressing Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha ? How long can President take to make up his / her mind ? How long can Govt departments take to get back to the president on such issues ? As per the Information Act this has to be shared with Public

In fact, the ministry did not send their recommnedations to kalam on Afzal's mercy petition. They clearly knew the constitution's limitations and playing with it. Similar is the case with Rajiv Gandhi's assasination.

Kalam never delayed any decision making. He ordered Dhananjay Chatterjee quickly, as home ministry had given the clearence, But in UPA govt., Afzal is minority a vote bank opportunity, that is why the Govt. had not sent the recommendation to Kalam.

what direction?
by SDVS JAGANNADHA RAJU on Sep 13, 2007 12:01 PM  | Hide replies

I dont know what direction is the law in India taking? I think it will improve only when the majority Hindus get frustrated with this UPA and take to terrorism. then there will be no more differentiation and only one religion of terrorism will exist.Thats the best solution to all these problems. Then we can see how they will pardon all and how will these scandalist UPA leaders exist on earth to pardon anyone.

Wait for Sheela Bhat to write a investigative article
by Ramachandra N on Sep 13, 2007 11:58 AM  | Hide replies

It will only be a matter of time before Sheela Bhat will come out with a investigative article to inform us how the wife and children and father and mohter and grand father and grand mother of this Mohammad Ashfaq is suffering and how the father of Mohammad Ashfaq suffered to bring his dozen children.

Later article will be focussed about Narndra Modhi and VHP and how they bombed the Red Fort and how the state police implicated Mohammad Ashfaq.

Just wait. It will be written before my message will be reported for abuse.

You HAVE to add one name that tops all - SYED FIRDAUS ASHRAF. He is the Messiah for all convicts. (Not just accused) He needs to go Pakistan since he does not like to live in Hindu Areas (As he said)

one more afjal. another ten years in supreme court. another ten years in presidents pardon court. another threat of hijacking a plane to get him free. one more media debate whether death penalty must be there or not. all non sense. today we are alive because few terrorists can not kill 110 crore people at one time otherwise we have backboneless govt and system where anyone can do any harm and stay alive with free food in jail. that goes from our pockets in the form of tax.

BETTER TO RELEASE HIM FOR CARRYING OUT MORE ATTACKS. IF SOMEBODY IS CONVICTED AND AWARDED CAPITAL PUNISHMENT. IT SHOULD BE DONE IMMEDIATELY. IF IT DOES'T HAPPEN WHY TO KEEP HIM IN JAIL. WHAT TYPE OF POLITICIANS ARE IN OUR COUNTRY. WE FEEL SHAME ON THEM.
