Does Kerala have infrastructure the kind of Gujarat? I doubut it sir. Does Kerala have industrial base anywhere near Gujarat? I do not think so. Did the economy of Kerala progress at the rate anywhere near Gujarat? No. Kerala is famous for its beauty and that is natural- not made by Congress or Leftists. In fact, they have done everthing to take away the biggest attraction Kerla had by illegal encroachments. If Kerala is proud of its NRIs in gulf, we too are proud of our NRIs in USA, UK and Australia not to forget in Gulf also. And talking about George Bush, what does it matter? If you want Modi to be hanged, Bush should be hanged 100 times for his crimes in Iraq alone! And talking about Laloo- who is he to criticize Modi. He is responsible for systamatic looting of Bihar in the last 15 years. He is the father of castism in India. People of Bihar did not beleive him and kicked him out of Gujarat, why should people of Gujarat or India take him seriously.

RECAPTURE NANDIGRAM
by ramanarayanan sambamurthy on Nov 14, 2007 07:14 PM  | Hide replies

This Government is in power since 1977 and has completed 30 years. There will be many more Nandigrams and Rizwanurs. We can employ all forms of agitation like Dharnas, silent procession, hunger strike and sit in demonstration. But nothing can dislodge the Red Brigade from the Red Fort. No organisation in West Bengal has consolidated and concerted power to dislodge this Government. They are not bothered about the protest march by the Intelluctual strata of the Society. Even the feeble opposition from the Congress has died down. It is open secret Congress also tacitly wishes to keep this Government to save their Seat in Centre. There is no State in India where a single combination ruled for over 30 years. Historians from the Intelluctual Strata may be able to tell during monarchy, whether a single dynasty ruled for more than 30 years. After analysing the goings on, according to my rough estimate, this Government can be dislodged, if all the voters are allowed "on line voting" or by SMS, which is followed for Indian Idol. Let us wait for that golden era. In the Interim, Lal Salam Left Front for running "Blood River in Nandigram" and siding with Modis and Ambanis and sidelining "Working Class". Please also ensure that "Working Class" do not learn English, which may make them more knowledgeable. If they become knowledgeable, you will become negligible. Please do not commit this mistake. Inquilab Zindabad, Shramik Yoko Zindabad.

West Bengal election is totally different than other states of India. Businessmen give money as usual; they also give money to Congress and BJP. They like CPI(M) more than Congress and BJP; because there is a pseudo-socialism cover on CPI(M), so, befooling the common people is more easy. Also, for this wish of businessmen, BJP governments did not disturb CPI(M); same thing Congress is doing. There are forces like party-goons and police; the nexus between these two is perceived very easily. These are very strong and direct forces for winning the election. There are other organizations of CPI(M) such as organizations of teachers, state employees and factory workers. These forces are very helpful to manipulate the voters list, direct voting system and counting. Computerized voting system is also problematic. Even, advanced countries do not depend on the computer system solely; whereas India does, probably with some intention. Also, CPIM) influenced news-media purposefully have created an opposition whose leader often talks irrelevantly. These are the factors behind CPI(M) success.

If you are an intelectual, you must stop a overspeeding driver. You shouldn't fight a driver after he commits the accident. Political leaders will be able to punish a driver after he commits accident.

So far three major masacares occured in our country after the after math of independence.
1. 1984 Sikh roits. It was a retaliation to the killing of Indra Gandhi by a Sikh.
2. 2002 Gujrat killings. It was in retaliation to the burning of Hindus in a train at Godhra.
3. 2007 Nandigram killings. It is engineered and sponsered by WB Government.

Almost whole of WB is fertile...so it is difficult to get barren lands...In addition, all those barren lands are far from Kolkata. I dont know whether anybody will like to develop far from Kolkata...Anyway, this cannot be any justifcation for the killings of common people...

I never deny the progress made by Bangalore and Hyderabad. But if you are living in a fool's paradise thinking that development work in Gujarat was done by Congress- you are sadly mistaken. Gujarat today is at the forefront of Infrastructure development projects. Adani Mundra Port today is the largest Private Sector Port in India. Gujarat Gas Company have struck enormous Gas deposits and companies from all over the world are after it. Guharat has piped water to every nook and corner of Gujarat. Gujarat Petronet has laid Gas pipeline to serve Gas to Industries and homes in each part of the state. In the last three years, Gujarat has attracted largest FDI in Industries in the country. Gujarat is developing 6 new mega ports. The chemical port at Dahej is the biggest in the country. Gujarat is developing an off shore city which will be the first of its kind in India. Do you want more? And you think congress did all these? Wake up

yes, i agree - the eminent ppl who walked today do not need publicity ..... it is a cause for which they truly felt that they shud voice their protest. the numerous commonppl who walked 2day were notthere for any publicity .... all feel they have the right to protest.
many have said that these ppl have done nothing so far - well itz not entirely true. ppl like pallab kirtaniya have actually visited the troubled areas during the last 11 months to distribute relief - i agree the number of such ppl are less, but at least some ppl did do the good work.
whatz more imp is the fact that ppl have felt itz high time to raise their voice agnst this anarchy.
am amazed & shocked teh CM defended his actiosn yesterday in the press conference ! 'absolute power' has gone into hsi head - it seems.
