while there is no question of absolving CPM for its grave lapses and acts in nandigram, it will be moronic to compare narendra modi with cpm. for modi, killing muslims is raison de etre. the rest, i.e. development bla bla is just a ruse. for cpm one cannot say that.
It is heartening to note that a part of the intelligentsia of Bengal has finally woken up. It is this section of the educated people t have been blindly supporting the growing corruption and intolerance of CPI(M) parties. It is high time that CPIM is reined in.
The way CPM party supported ration dealers are being lynched seems to be the only way to tackle the left cadres. As it is in the past 25 years of left rule the state has degenerated in all areas of development.
Since when Bengalees are self centered. Have a glance at the history book - history of India's freedom movement ; may be you would have the brain to understand. The real story will never be told. Why is the state scared to allow any one to enter SINGUR or Nandigram. The fact remains that in Singur CPI(M) people in mask and in police uniform attacked children and women. CPIM Supporters as in all govt office and factories worked overtime informing about their neighbours to the party so that the neighbours can be tortured by by party goons and creating insecurity.People of Singur did not want to part with their fertile land .CPI(M) supporters are not believed.When Lakhsman Seth put notice of land grab in Nandigram the CPIM split and so those who were suspected were scared and left nandigram ,they were not attacked untill the brutal massacare conducted by CPIM.
Please impose president rule in west benagl.and save the innocent people from CPIM-GOVT.This govt useless govt.Please support all west bengal people to our prime minister...to impose president rule in bengal for some time bening.when situation is proper then new election...

Please get your facts right.... In Nandigram, a group of CPI(M) sympathisers have turned against the party. Seeing this opportunity, the Naxals have stepped in but essentially the movement is led by the local people. The CPIM is not able to say anything as most of the protesters are Muslims and the leftists have always considered it communal to speak the inconvenient truth.
For your information, hundreds of people from Garden Reach have moved to Nandigram to protest the violence of the CPIM. Besides, the state police is a silent spectator as they are marginalised by the party. The local SP was transferred recently specifically to serve the polical purpose of the party.
This is a well planned attack mounted by the CPIM party to get back control of the area.
Without ensuring proper ownership right over land, the CPM government allowed 'bagirdars' (share-cropper) to cultivate land by force (under unlawful patronage of CPM leadership). The poor bagirdars fearing ejection from land voted election after election for CPM. It is told that dying fathers use to extract promise from their sons to vote only for CPM in order to perpetuate their 'technically illeagal' occupation of land. This solid vote bank (bagirdars plus minorities, another community which normally go for negative voting) ensured victory of CPM in successive elections. CPM goons started taking local population for granted. They behave like demi-gods to local people in Bengal. The Nandigram is mere a flash-point. The problem is much worse. Mamta Banergee all alone cannot find the solution. In fact, she was forced to behave in 'hysterical manner' again to the benefit of sauve Jyoti Basu or Budhhadev Bhattacharya. Best wishes to people particularly rural people of West Bengal. Those who have spent some time in JNU can very well judge the operating mechanism of CPM/ SFI goons and their intellectual (?) supporters.

Killing by Communists is not new. They have done this in Bengal since 1977. First they burnt alive dozens of Ananda Margis in Kolkata in 1980s - killings of the Sain family in Burdwan - killings of TMC supporters in Keshpur and Nanur. All these years Aparna and Rituporno had their mouth shut.
The reason why they are so vocal now - is because Buddhadev is moving away from Communism towards Capitalism. Thats what is hurting these communist intellectuals. Hence all this noise.
