According to Ms. Arundhati Roy, the Supreme Court did not give Afzal a fair trial. Yet she wants Afzal to be retried by the same court! And why did not she hire a lawyer to fight for Afzal in the SC? Well Ms. Roy, you may think SC sucks, media sucks, security agencies suck - in short this country sucks but as a citizen of this country you can support a person convicted of waging war against the country without fear. For the same thing you would not long dead and gone if you were a citizen of the country that mentors people like Afzal. BUT THEN SUPPORTING A PERSON CONVICTED OF TREASON IS SOOOOO CUTIE PIE!!!!!
Arundhati, please go to afgahnistan, Saudi and Pakistan and fight for Osama bin laden and his ilk in AL-Qaeda and their supporters from Bushism and stay there forever and better still convert yourself into the religion of this type of sick people better still if you include praful bidwai.
Who is this arundathi roy? After all she is an author of a book. What importance does her demand have? looks like any one is allowed to question on anything to get fame and publicity! Let her write books and dont fight for the cause of murderers! Also, i think rediff should not lose its good image by highlighting it in the front page!
it is high time these activists do some constructive work rather than being expert on every subject possible under the sun. If they think police and judiciary are the main culprits,why they don't go to kashmir and impart their lecture,so that the killing of innocents is stopped.
