Dear Hanif Mohammed,

When new evidences come, old theories have to be
discarded ... History needs to be re written to show the facts.

History shows us the roots, from where we have come from
and this gives a lot of self esteem which the present
generation lacks most.

Sankar

I just envy the time you have got mate. Here we are getting requirements in the morning and delivery deadlines in the evening.
Thalaivare, one suggestion. Teach your child history and nothing else. Right from the fact that Indians invented the wheel to Indians had written computer code in Sanskrit. According to your theory he will start inventing left and right. Then India will also become a superpower if there are some more people like that as U have theorized in other columns.
Children want one time meals in a day and farmers are dying due to debt. Dont ever go there and tell this. Your life will be in danger.

But you have plenty of time to write nonsense on bulletin boards, eh, Ramki?

Exactly what has your side, ie the DMK and the Congress, achieved in 50+ years of misrule? What did they do for the poor farmer? Why are their any poor farmers left at all after the Golden Age brought about by the Nehru Dynasty?

with politicians bent on destroying indian culture in the name of "secularism", we can only pray that LOrd Krishna keeps up his promise to come back when adharma rises and brings the current Arjuna back to senses with another Gitopadesh.

Mr. Rajeev has thrown some light on a glorious Culture and civilization of ours.

This is a well proven fact that British historians had done a big damage to the Indian history by their well crafted Fairy tales by Pouring in their fabricated plots and stories.

It hurts me when our own Modern and developed Indians denies these facts and the consider the arguments based on the details given in Purans , ancient scriptures and archeological findings to be a result of the Brainwash done by our scriptures.
This shows the extent of damage which these foreign Historians had done to us.

In fact the archeological findings, the scriptures are in complete synchronism.
To a matter of fact scriptures reveals the complete chronology of all the Yugs.

The facts like the Adams Bridge between Srilanka and India. confirmed by NASA to be a manmade and quite Ancient.

The discovery of skeleton of a giant Human being from Northen part of India confirms the fact mentioned in Scriptures that the Sizes of all Living things Shrinks in all the Yugs also their Power an the years for which they live.

There are endless facts which can challenge the Defaced Indian History by Evil Historians.

A very good article..

I totally agree that the kind of history taught in India is a bulshit. I would say the authors of those books are inspired by well-frogs. They don't know and don't want to know what's there beyond their reach.
And the upcoming generation prefer to believe westerners more than their own ancestors. This is a clear sign of disaster of a civilization.
The vedas and upanishads describe the way of living. We all know our ancestors were master at these living techniques. Yet we want to learn them from novice westerners.
Indian myth says 'a yug ends every 32000 years'. A couple of months back, I read a scientific news article mentioning a earth-link planet circling around Sun, whose year is nearly 32000 earth years long. And its elliptical path goes between that of earth and mars.
Even if you don't believe these myths, our ancestors had enough developed brains to think of what they wrote.

is rajeev a historian or a archaeologist.what makes u beleive whatever he says is correct.he has reinforced the myth that some people are thbest in the world while others are useless which is used by brahmins to denigrate the lower castes and now he has used the euphemism of hindus that they were the best and all others were useless. chloroform was the first anaesthetic and pencillin revolutionised medicine but they r rarely used now. the same hold strue in all fields . we r defenitely trying to improve and we r defenitely better individuals than our forefathers. will u now say tha a dalit should not enter ur house. it was in reverse during ur future generations where the prson entering and allowing would have been honour killed.dont u find it stupid now women during menstruation is impure and should not enter the house. ur forefathers did it to their own daughters and mothers.whatwas the great hindus views on widow remarriage. i hope rajeev will not say that there were no widows as ours was a great civilisation . it is foolish and stupid to think we r the best. try to be the best and work for benefit of mankind as a whole not for ur narrow groups.

Good article. At least different arguments and facts are being discussed now. Well made arguments. Views against this should also be discussed with the same civility as this article has done.

I can see that most deluded leftist will see this article as communalism. Unless they can somehow insert class struggle and eventual oppression of all classes. Its not a history worth reading for leftists.

INDIAN HISTORY

Given a topic, and ask 10 people to comment on it, we will end-up with 10 different views - let history remain history. Sitting in our arm chair to argue about history does not bring any tangiable benefits to anyone in their lifetime - we will go to our grave taking our preception with us. Look at what we are able to achieve for the future and work for it - we will get somewhere in life. I do believe in history, but I do not belive in re-invented history. History cannot be corrected, when it's history - period. I have heard of spin doctors working on stories, but not with history !!

When we get 10 ppl in India to answer questions on history there are bound to be ppl like u who choose to denigrate India and deny its glorious past. This can be seen from the responses to this article. Perhaps your allegiance lies elsewhere. But India is a free country unlike the Islamic world and you have the freedom to say what u think - be it for or against the country. I only hope that you ppl will someday realise the greatness of this free nation and learn to respect its glorious past.

That is precisely the point. Only the truth should be taught as history. Not a leftist version of history.
For example, Tipu Sultan is being taught as a secular king, when temples that he attacked have marks of damage to this day. Akbar is taught as secular & the great; when he gave orders for massacre of 30,000 civilians in 3 days after the siege of Chittogh for supporting the Rajput troops & their refusal to convert to Islam. These are mere examples.
Let us all read just the truth & nothing but the troop, and let us not recommit the mistakes of history. Satyameva Jayate.

Yeah Right! Why should we talk about history? Especially when, it talks about 'Hindu' supremacy! No way...Let everything continue AS IS...which is...the marxist-nehruvian spineless PINK history... After all recognising the true Indian history will only make u, the westerners and the parasitic marxist look as midgets...

Hey Mohammed,

You are afraid of History because your history and the present are both not worth flaunting. But that is not the case with real Bharathis (Indians - actually Hindus) Indian History is that of civilisation, culture and co-existence, whereas your history is that of plunder, greed and deceit. That is why you do not want any research on the spinned history of the world.

By the way, History as you are reading now is what was written by paid "Historians" of your clan. It is only now, after the advent of Internet, there is much higher flow of information & more freedom of thought that we are able to undo the corruption of your & the cross clan.

Ofcourse you guys would not agree to hard facts derived from archeological research. If you are really proud of your deeds please come froward to help us complete the research. If not just die in your own cocoon of guilt & shame.

Hanifbhai dont feel to be happy reading the article of history becoz he might be feeling that it is not his history. But let me tell you hanifbhai that it is your history, our history. Just becoz you are from different religion from ancient india your history doesnt change. If you go back to your history, you may find that you were also a Hindu. But even if you dont find such thing, you are an Indian and your ancestors are in India since ages and thus your history and my history is not different.

History is never meant to "remain as history". It is a systematic knowledge and it is the collection of past knowledge helping people to make better decisions and avoid reinventing the wheel.

As given in the article "Those who forget the history are condemned". There is nothing wrong is reading about our own glory and it is way better than to curse Indians and our own mentaility and our failure for every single reason.

History is meant to help people in the future and if India can take the cue from its past then it would immensely help in its future pursuits.

Hail Bharat. May the god lead us to regain the lost glory.

hi,

I agree to your point. but something is required to make all of us proud to be indian. Even in america negros & red-indians (the real americans) are proud of being an american though they are facing discrimination from whites because they have something to show that they are great, most powerfull country ... in todays world. but we indians doesn't have anything appart from our glorious past of vedic age.

i think u agree that religion and culture are different. so pls don't mix vedas etc.. as part of a religion worshiping Rama & Krishna. Take it as a part of the culture in that your forefathers were also a part (if u r an indian).

Same for Treesa

ciao
sb
