At last the guilty was punished. We the people of India want to live peacefully. Nobody is forced to be converted. I am a Christain (Roman Catholic) and my husband is a Hindu (Brahmin) we have no problem with our respective religions and non of us two have forced each other to be converted to either religions. We respect each others religion. We have a son who is growing like an Indian enjoying all the festivals in India. He respects both our religions. Please try to live as an INDIAN FIRST.
Hat's off to the judiciary of the nation that this death sentence has been awarded to him. I only hope that this decision is not overturned or the sentence lightened by superior courts. I am also glad that at least Indian judiciary is still Secular.
My belief in the Indian Judiciary has gained from this judgement. Irrespective of caste, race or creed, human life is to be respected. This does not mean that I do not endorse the sentence... for a man capable of such a horrific deed, and one showing no repentance at that... is better dead than alive. To stake a claim to fame for repeating such a deed - let it be not his choice.
As Dara committed a henious crime, he deserves it. In future also, murderer, whoever he may be, should be properly punished without looking his political involvement and background. But sometimes, innocents are punished and criminals are acquited. Punishment to a criminal should be a lesson to others, so that people will not commit any crime.
