My heart goes out to the lady - my admiration for her has no bounds. I am sure as long as she has hope she has life - Hope God will hear her pleas and grant her the wish of knowing the truth.
Our system if full of flaws and hurdles - with every incident mankind losses faith in mankind - alas! it seems "dogs" are better off these days!!
Thanks for carrying such a touching story. The story itself as well as the comments that follow indicate that all is not lost and we have a semblance of sensitivity even in this materialistic society. The lady has shown grit & determination in the face of extreme adverse situation. One can wish her and her son the very best to come out successful in a mean world and pray to the Almighty to give her and other s in similar situations to the courage to sustain themselves. We a;sp sincerely hope their story would inspire everyone in similar citcumstances never to give up.Thanks again Anil Dhawan
It was published in the TOI around last week that a wreckage of a AN 12 was found in the same area. It was believed to be the same plane that crashed in 1968.
The correspondent quotes the distraught lady to mention that the plane probably went down near the Indo-Pak border....But The Rohtang pass is near the Sino-Indian Border.... Is this just an oversight or a result of lackdaisical research by the concerned correspondent..... If the portal is trying to help the lady..the least it can do is to get the facts right....
For our Indian Politicians they only have words for our Army Men, but when it comes to help them, they won't.
Politicians/Govt. should not forget that, whatever we are today, due to our brave soldiers who have sacrified their dreams for our nations.
We should not only respect them thorugh words, also by financially to all their dependents especially their parents, for giving such a brave men to our nation.
