MY DEEP CONDOLENCES TO THE LADY
by ANIL SHARMA on Aug 11, 2003 04:28 PM

It's very unfortunate that the Soldier who worked for the Airforce has disappeared like this.

This is shame on the Governments then & now and the Indian Air Force, who are totally helpless to trace the whereabouts of the missing Soldier.

I believe that the Soldier is still alive and would return home very soon. I pray to the Almighty for his safe return.

Your Faith will allow you to reach him...

It is amazing that despite the odds , continued denial of all help from government agencies ,bringing up a child all alone you still have the courage to still believe in your beliefs .....your prayers will definetly be answered.

I was touched to read her story. What a painful life she much have had. I must say God is very unfair to her family. I think the govt official must be staying in 15th century to give such a ridiculous amount as pension.

hope must never falter for without it fate alters and there is no life beyond
by Prasad on Aug 11, 2003 03:31 PM

i have been really moved by this real life incident and am more surprised that such an incident of her life which took away all her future has come into light after more than 3 decades and this shows the courage shown by our Indian women who bait on their hope and really i bend low to bow before this lady who only after living with her husband for 15 months has been waiting for the past 35 years for him. this only shows the relationship between a wife and a husband and is a backlash to the western cultural influence and lowering moral and social values in our soceity. i would pray with all my heart that this sacrifice must not go waste and just hope as she does that her prayers would be answered at some point of time in her life. but looking at the pathetic way in which it must have been handled by the government authorities, i really feel bad and am just cut down to another helpless sympatheser. My best wishes to you dear mother for its only people like your husbands whose courage and life we are living today in this free India.

Here is an example of a "nari ratna" who amidst the chaos lives in the true picture of an Indian Lady.Wonder whether the "hubby dumping" women's libbers ever learn a lesson or two from this agonising tale .

This Narration shows the Negligence of the Govt. Of India with a Monopoly and Selfish Mannerism. and the Brave Inner Power of the Lady. I pray to God that If he is somewhere in the Univese, then he have to give the Justice to the Lady.

Thanks

a poignant fact
by T.SUNDARESAN on Aug 11, 2003 03:15 PM

a poignant fact.how can we treat our brave servicmen like this!!

the least the airforce could have done is to increase the pension amount.

the laloo's and shukla's who have gone to sabzi mandis in pakistan should be made to enquire on the status of somasundaram with pervez musharraf.

best luck dear lady
