Business strategy
by Mangesh Prabhakar Asawalikar on Nov 23, 2017 02:01 PM

These strategy masters first create controversies, then business.

Instead of blaming any Karni Sena, they should have simply shown the film to satisfy them, what's a big deal and why did it hurt their ego if there was nothing wrong in the film.

Good strategy of creating a hue and cry and then get man handled and finally tons of money

The wrong first step

Dear fellow countrymen,
The only objective of this post is to highlight the biggest gaffe committed by the producers and director of the film Padmavati in the cast itself. It is an Indian psyche that we associate the reel life characters to their real life and expect the same kind of nobility and purity from them. That's the reason a Prithviraj kapur cast as Akbar on stage may not bow down to the Indian prime minister as he considers himself at that point of time a bigger entity than PM himself and the PM too sportingly has to accept the fact. By the same logic the PM prays to Ram Laxman during the annual Ram leela event although the actors themselves are lesser beings. Sanjay Leela had committed the same mistake in showing a Rajputani in a love relationship with a pastoral class in his movie Ram-Leela, however was forgiven although both the castes were offended as it is fact of history that no marital relationships exists and the men women of either caste share the most relationship of brother and sister with end number of instances where the honour of each is protected by the other at life cost. Hence Sanjay has the habit of doing this things and later claiming innocence as he did by previewing the movie before select media persons to get it certified even before the censor board did so.
For the Rajputs, the queen is nothing less than a deity, however are in a minority compared to the remaining fellow citizens but do the majority have a right to hurt the sentiments..

I feel you have the right to disagree and hence oppose as others are saying they have the right to express, in fact expression of ones opinion is something else but casting a historical character by modifying & changing the history to suit or entertain the audience is not correct. He could have named the characters as,A,B,C....Z i.e; could have changed the name

Question is
by piri on Nov 23, 2017 10:11 AM

rather out of place on this portal.

Asking whether readers on an English news portal, regardless of the fact that hindi is the mother tongue for several of them, whether they will watch a hindi movie is as out of place a question as one that asks whether they will watch a telugu movie!
