movies that are completely disconnected from reality and which feature hyndi speaking men and women and children living in opulence and laboring extremely hard to ape white men and women and children in lifestyles, speech, mannerisms, gestures.....virtually everything, the hyndi cinema world sometimes takes a big risk at damaging its own self esteem by venturing out to make a movie which it believes reflects the earthy reality of life of Indian commoners !

Alas, the one BHK family in Mumbai is as far down as it will dare go !

The decades of hollow vanity Bollywood has built up around itself and infected most hyndi speaking middle class north Indians with will simply not allow it to go further down to where more than 55 % of all Mumbaikars live - in horrendously unclean and congested slums with the railway tracks and other open areas as the only option as toilets !

Padmavati the fake one

Dear fellow countrymen,
The only objective of this post is to highlight the biggest gaffe committed by the producers and director of the film Padmavati in the cast itself. It is an Indian psyche that we associate the reel life characters to their real life and expect the same kind of nobility and purity from them. That's the reason a Prithviraj kapur cast as Akbar on stage may not bow down to the Indian prime minister as he considers himself at that point of time a bigger entity than PM himself and the PM too sportingly has to accept the fact. By the same logic the PM prays to Ram Laxman during the annual Ram leela event although the actors themselves are lesser beings. Sanjay Leela had committed the same mistake in showing a Rajputani in a love relationship with a pastoral class in his movie Ram-Leela, however was forgiven although both the castes were offended as it is fact of history that no marital relationships exists and the men women of either caste share the most relationship of brother and sister with end number of instances where the honour of each is protected by the other at life cost. Hence Sanjay has the habit of doing this things and later claiming innocence as he did by previewing the movie before select media persons to get it certified even before the censor board did so.

Jauhar, the ultimate self-sacrifice to protect ones honour by the queen and thousands of such Rajputanis who self-immolated themselves rather than falling prey to the brute invader revealed human spirit at its zenith which also astonished the winner and making him feel like a loser. The barbarians had to modify their view of Hindu society which protected them from further forceful conversions. Sanjay Leela started on the wrong foot by playing with this noble sentiments by the cast itself with Deepika playing the noble character with her boyfriend with whom as everyone knows is having a live in relationship and who plays Khilji, so even if the movie does not carry any scene together as certified by the select media persons who previewed this movie, the relationship of the cast itself is an anathema and a mischief played knowingly or unknowingly to play with the sentiments and this issue has been entirely missed out by all concerned and could have been averted at the beginning itself. Hence any explanation of no dream sequence between Khilji & Padmavati by the Director is contradicted by the real life live-in together which affects the sub-conscious mind to get hurt without being aware of it.

Politics and Journalism - newest professions of survival

Prasoon Joshi, like many eminent people in Bombay, has turned out to be a pussycat! Pahlaj Nihalani, even if wrong, spoke his mind. Prasoon Joshi was just looking for a face saver to turn down the certificate and the CEO of Bhansali offered one.

The nation wants to know, obviously, what Arnab Goswami, Rajat Gupta and others will say. Will they run non-stop sessions on Padmavati until the politicians give in? The public would be wise to see through these charlatans at least now. Journalists and politicians are the newest professions of survival ! The weakest of them adapt to situations to evolve

There is something about POWER.

As soon as you get it, you start worrying about losing it.

And then you start defending the indefensible.

Have you seen the movie? Do you know what is objectionable in the movie? Or is it just mob mentality? Or maybe you are a paid BJP activist?
