this is nothing but self assumed intellectualism of a so called liberal secular person,state has all right to take action if it is punishable by law,right we had evils like rape and corruption but which society is free from it ,it is every where around globe and indian state as well tries to stop this evils but what it has to do with this filthy show ,if this author want to use such filthy language can use it at his home with his family memebrs .actually so called liberals are spineless non practical fools

wish all those involved in this episode including the so called liberal writer read your posting..The film industry has always been a negative influence on our children..but for the employment it generates, it is a big drain on the country's culture and values.
These so called liberals and seculars etc are themselves are intolerant and abusive and suppressive. They think they have right to do what ever they want in the name of freedom , rights etc but they want no body else to use the same freedom to oppose and protest. When u have a freedom to do anything than the other side also have the freedom to protest if they dont like it. As long as the protest is not breaking any laws, no body should worry.

I really wish for the rest of you as you claim rape is a crime. In India raping a woman is as normal as relieving oneself on the road. The people who claim to protect so called "Indian Culture" are it's biggest offenders. What the journo has written is excellent & hits right home. Way to go Suparna.
The real problem is that muslim and hindu fanatics and fundamentalists don't care at all about tolerance towards others, while liberals care so much about it that they are tolerant even towards the intolerant!
That's why whenever the fundamentalists shout loudly like spoilt brats, governments listen to them. The liberals on the other hand waste time writing pointless ineffective articles like these and get increasingly frustrated!
If you want to promote liberty and tolerance, you have to fight for it with as much passion and violence as the fanatics fight for intolerance. This is an inescapable fact.
