if the channels have their way, they will insert sexual acts video on prime slot to get TRPs.
I didn't watch the entire show, so I can't comment on how rotten the entire event was. I did watch bits and pieces and those bits and pieces was tasteless.
In any case, the author is wrong when he says "if you don't like it, don't watch it."
It's not about culture or values...it's about those people that this video is reaching out to. Putting up crass videos like this that openly teach you to mock people around you...is vile and filthy.
Sure, some people have an acquired taste for such material, but they are not the majority. Why bring this nonsense to the doorsteps of the majority?
These 'comedians' have to make a living, so they'll do all kinds of rubbish to grab eyeballs. Which is what this event was about...rubbish.
It's become a fad to make a living by mocking people. Utter lunacy. People with absolutely no talent are vomiting po0p and claiming that it is comedy.
Freedom can be to a point. There is question on AIB because people cannot simply say it is our culture --they protest. Film makers simply by their influence and medium cannot and never propogate something which may heart sensibilities. If people supporting AIB feel its absolutely ok then why demonise someone who say it is a filthy joke
