saw the movie. thought i check what the review was. slightly surprised at the 4 stars. its clearly a poor indianized adaptation of the play Herr Puntila And His Man Matti. it however missed the sarcasm and anti-capitalistic milieu which charecterises the play. Nevertheless a poor adaptation is better than the drivel which we are otherwise used to.

Saw the film yest and entirely agree with Raja Sen! Its a beauty. In fact I waited for his review and the moment saw weird and VB , I knew it will be a must watch. Though that Macbeth bit has been made too obvious and rough. And then it was all PANKAJ KAPOORRRRRRRRRRRRR. Super acting in the twilight of his career. Hope other directors make proper use and showcase his talent.
its not a good film...bhardawaj is a quentin tarantino wannabe...so he copies him...but he lacks good story / direction and real coolness ...only pankaj kapoor is good in the movie...but rest is very boring..
really? now we get 4 stars for every khan movies? is underworld writing reviews now? i guess underworld stopped release of kamal hassan's movie to benefit this one?
showing off himself as highly intellectual, writing reviews in his own English, which he only can understand. It is such a pain to read his reviews, more painful than watching the movie itself. He does all this as part of his profession, to save his job. I believe anyone who finds this review as good may also find the movie a good one too. Wierdo unwatchable movies get great ratings.Shanghai,Matru,jhtj,barfi are given great ratings.every gunga,behra gets great rating.I do not know what is wrong wiht critcs.Moview is all about entertainment,entertainment,entertainment.The strategy to praise Srk,Hrithik and new comers will not work anymore,Now people will only watch entertaining movies of Salman,Ajay,Aamir,Akshay,Emraan etc.

in khiladi 786, akshay punches men who fly like birds...in rowdy rathore, akshays heroine is sonakshi sinha's waist..the rest of her is not given any attention..

Raja Sir ...what crime we the readers have committed? Why is this torture and harrasment? Is it a crime to attempt to know, how the movie?
I can read, write and speak three languages and engligh is one of them. But which language review is this? Quixote, altruism, soliloquy...
We are not realizing the potential of Raja Send and uncessarily wasting our time and money with criminals. We should send Raja Sen for interrogation and they will suicide in jail itself...saving time and money for the country.

As long as he lives in China we are safe...else he will add Chinese flavour to his language and that would be even more terrible. I don't think our country has such a great strength to handle anyone like that.

Sankar - Dude, is it so hard to find meaning of words you don't know? Dictionary exists for a purpose, you know, like looking up meanings. Quixote is not a word - it's a character Don Quixote - read the novel "Man from La Mancha" or at least the Wikipedia page. Then you can understand the context of what Raja is saying. Rest of the words are words that may not translate well to a generation whose vocabulary is restricted to LOL and WTF. Sorry for the sarcasm - but I'm sure you didn't catch that either.

Dear Mark for your kind information, if someone wants to improve their English they will go for a coaching or a class. The way you have written it looks like you are student in English who keeps browsing the net holding the dictionary in one hand and frequently referring it. Hence I suggest you may approach Raja sen for a personal English tuition and both of you get out from here, until you get improved

If your English is not good enough for you to understand what is written, clearly this is the wrong place for you. Do not criticize the writer because you do not understand what he is trying to say, in fact you do not have the right to do so. And the quality of the original message clearly tells us why it is difficult for the person to understand this review.

Mr.P, I am not sure if there is any class system or anyother places for people with poor engligh like me.
I do not rate myself as a person with great english skills. But as a regular reader of this site, I guess I have the right or atleast the expectation that I understand something that is posted on this site.
My impression of Raja Sen research papers (reviews) is that he show cases his language skills rather than review the movie.
If there is a disclaimer that a review is for only elite english readers. I would definitely refrain from reading or commenting.

Got it...But I am sorry I just studied only till Post Graduation and live in US and does't know much english at this level. And have a job too to take care. Else I would have worked on a thesis called Raja Sen and his review.
