Not only songs but he was master of Background score. While other MDs' have used background music taken from Music bank, Panchamda always prepared original music even for B grade movies..

Some of the examples..

Shakti.. The tune he used for different scenes of Dilip Kumar with Amitabh (with different moods)

Saagar.. He played different tunes for all three leading characters again with different moods depending on scene..

Samundar.. the best background score ever, matching with Maldives backdrop..

Satte pe satta.. Tune whenever Babu (2nd role of Big B) appears on Screen.. Number of music directors have copied this tune.

and Not to forget The Burnnning Train.. Only title track is enough..

you seems to be a loyal RD fan like me, who emphasis on is background score. Really his background score work is equally haunting. Burning train has computer/robotic effect in RDs voice, Samundar has saxo playing for Amrish puri. This is something called signature tune. If anybody knows Dharmendra playing negative in movie Qayamat has very haunting BG score.
