I wonder if today's music directors weep in hideout in frustration! They should affix a full-sized framed photograph of his and drink water having washed his feet!

Which Hindi Film Music director did not copy..?
Moreover...RDBs copies were maybe a line in the mukhda.. thereafter the entire treatment of song changed...

Had RDB been a 5 album hero (as in Hollywood..).. Some in hollywood are considered genius only with 1 hit in entire lifespan..yes..maybe he could have done without borrowing inspiration from elsewhere..
But...a place where quantity rules..and catering to an entire country (not a specific region) comes into picture.. somewhere sometimes.. the quality takes a backseat..

You iidiot, Listen to his classsical songs, the Songs he composed for Gulzar (movies Masoom, Kitaab, Kinara, Ghar, Ijazat, Aandhi) and also for Hrishikesh Mukherjee( Golmal, Bemissal, namak haraam) and then tell which one is lifted from hollywood.

He gave all kind of music. His competitors like Laxmikant Pyarelal used to give good music only for few Directors (like Subhash Ghai, Manoj Kumar, J omprakash) and for others they gave totally forgattable numbers. Whereas RDB gave good songs even for B grade movies.

R D Burman was a inferior musician compared to Anu Malick and Himesh Reshamiya!

If he had these two geniuses around, RD could have come up with better music!

It is good to hear his "music" lampooned and ridiculed in remixes these days!

Did we really need so much East Indian cacophony?!

Mr Sachin,it seems u have no respect for Panchamda.....first learn to appreciate and then criticise....one should have a good 'ear' to listen to Panchamda and sadly,it seems u have a problem with the ears!!!!
