Kamal is of vishva-talent,but, an adamant artist(matlab- he used to thrust his appetite of celluloid -sometimes highly palatable,but, at times undigestable). Viswaroopam is of that type, I feel. Infact, Kamal will all his ultra talent, should resist of this type mega movies,which indian - tamil moviegoers can watch in Borne,Salt,Bond,MI movies. He must concentrate on movies like Anbe Shivam,SathiLeelavathi, Thevarmahan, Vettaiaadu,Mahanadhi etc.,instead of such mega holywood type movies. Mr Kamal u r a genius..live Shivaji, we love you. But pl.dont'overstep.

well said manoharan... now all the fanatics of komal would jump and tell that we are rajni fans... this guys has to retire from direction first and do his age movies as an simple artist
Vishwaroopam in Tamil is a super hit in Bangalore. We were trying to get tickets over the weekend and it was houseful in all the theatres for all the shows, and finally we managed a front seat last evening. The movie has some great action sequences and is a suspense thriller, in a different story line in different locales and gives us the feel of a fast paced action thriller in English. people from chennai, hosur and other neighboring cities of tamil nadu, had thronged the theatres, causing an unusual rush, even on the weekdays. its well worth watching and a good roll for the money that u have paid. most important, there was nothing anti -mos -lim in the movie, for all the hullaboo creating a ban. the movie was about the al kaida and not about indian mos -lims. so there was no reason for any cuts. good movie for a three and half to four rating. worth ur money, when compared to several other masala movies. its a different effort altogether by kamal hasan. i don't personally like him, but i definitely enzoyed this movie.
