Super hit for you only..You need to understand..Kamal Hasan himself is mad and he makes mad movies all times..and acts 10 roles or 100 roles...fully filled in the movie....acts as mad..dialogues also mad..hopeless fellow...See..'Desavatgharam'..what a idiot movie was that..he should stop film industry and start vegetable selling

you mean to say that all mallu movies are superhit movies?Most of Mallu movies are "A" Picture movies and you ppl.comeout of kerala to fill ur stmach for a living as your state doesnot fetch proper income for u other than tourism.there is no proper living in kerala for ur people.So shut ur mouth and backhole & stop commenting abt tamil movies OK.Everybody knows Kamal is a legend and Versatile actor.So Think b4 commenting.

You need to know some ones music before you comment.In this context, pl compare the music of Kadal with music of Alaigal oyvathillai. It will explain a lot. BTW nothing wrong in not lsitening to IR. Cos the loss is only yours not his :-)
Director Mani Ratnam, it appears, has indeed traveled a far distance from his evergreen hits such as Mouna Ragam, Roja, Anjali, where the movie takes you through an emotional journey without necessarily asking you to stop and think about what you just saw. Movies such as Raavan and Kadal have through their subtextual intent made us question our premises about their stories and possibly, our own.
Havent seen Kadal but a few words about why Bharathi Rajas's 1981 film was a hit.
1) New script / story 2) Light treatment with fresh faces 3) Great camera 4) Great music - extremely novel for the times.
Still the movie was a bit slow with needless lagging in places. If released now it would have been a flop for sure, but for those times it was a sensation.
two hours 44 minutes movie?? minimum we require 30 minutes cut... why editor cut kissing scene ? plz add kissing scene... otherwise no audience/crowd will be from monday..
kadal is super floppp... maniratnam no sarakku.. game over for mani ratnam... no scope for heroine.. that is why samantha withdrawn from kadal movie... wasted manju... now time for maniratnam's VRS...
