then youngsters should not act as oldies. thats wat an actor means. in barfi ranbir acted as old person. if u r telling thats wat actor to do then a old person can act as younger if they can convince. otherwise ranbir should not act as old person
Usually it is this time when the famous suppandi strikes. Probably his fat self is buried under some manure. Or, has he been banned from here for his intelligent thoughtful writings?
Well, Prithvi is a wrong choice. it should have been the younger actors like Mohanlal or Mamooty with their amazing pot bellies.. Privthi's 6 packs didn't go well with the audience... it has a shock value.. sad.

Well, we do not understand the logic here. When a 45 year old AAmir Khan can act as a college student, why not Prithviraj act as a youngster. Aamir Khan may have acted well but he never looked like a college student and was more looking like a professor or lecturer in his mid thirties for sure. Now, why did the perfectionist fail in the basics there ? Please remember all these Bollywood stars right from 70s till date thrive only on publicity & media hype & nothing great (there may be few exceptions). South Indian film actors like Kamal Hassan,MohanLal,Mamooty are undoubtedly the best actors in India with whom you can compare anyone. Also,Prithviraj is a good actor when compared with lot of Bollywood's overrated stars.
They lampoon Prithvi in Kerala for his good english0 ye, body and looks and now sing his praise after he got noticed nationally. Mallus love their Pazhankanjji so stick to 70 year old Mamooty romancing stricly under 16 girls. And wigged, fatso Mohanlal give double meaning dialogues

Hey, I thought we were all Indians? Since when does the entire nation (or Mumbai) become more superior than Kerala which is the state with the highest rate of literacy in the nation? At least Prithvi tried do something out of his comfort zone. What have you done? Jai Hind.

Dude, Bollywood is still romancing old man bachchan and Sanjay Dutt. Other established stars are also 50s plus or near 50.
Sanjay Dutt and Mammooty are the same age group. Just look up mammootty and Sanjay the pot bellied baldy underworld goon. Mammooty looks so suave. so zip it!
Our handsome star Mamooty would have been apt since he is a fantastic dancer also, however he does not act with heroines who are above 16 anymore. Bad luck Rani Aunty!

Hindi movie fans wont understand the evolved dancing steps made famous by mammootty, such as the beautiful step where he moves his legs and hands in unison etc..

yes, you need to be superior intellectual species to understand those kinda dance steps.. he should act in the biopic on Micheal Jackson. ;-)

Aiyyaa review: Quirky and endearing! Movie Aiyyaa Director Sachin Kundalkar Cast Rani Mukerji, Prithviraj, Subodh Bhave, Satish Alekar, Kishori Ballal, Nirmiti Sawant, Ameya Wagh, Anita Date, Pakada Pandi, Jyoti Subhash
Sonia Chopra
Her favourite book is Alice in Wonderland. How fitting, as our quirkily endearing character Meenakshi (Rani Mukerji) flits between her dreams and reality with such dexterity, she's often confused herself. In her own words, "kitni zaalim duniya hai - na reality mein jeene deti hai, na sapnon mein jaane deti hai!" Meenakshi is part of the Deshpande family, whose home is right beside the locality dustbin. Of course, this disturbing fact is more symbolic than one notices at first glance. For, in a scene, we are told that in her dream world, the world is a pristine place without any garbage. Such is the sweet, eccentric nature of the film's comedy.
And the poetry is evident in the scene where she steps into the aesthetics of the art school where she works, and then we see her step into the garbage-laden street.
Meenakshi is against rushing into marriage and is tired of the "chai-pohe" routine the family puts her through. It's all OK till she sets her eyes on an art student (Prithviraj) in the college. Coincidentally, she also meets a match that makes for perfect 'husband material'.
Special: All about Aiyyaa
So what should she do? Follow her heart (and nose) and pursue the strapping young man who won't even look at her, o
