When I saw the promo of this movie some 2 months back, I had had completely wrong idea about the movie. This movie is not at all about a woman trying to learn English and trying to be funny. It's much more than that. I feel sorry that the makers of this movie decided to focus their marketing campaign in wrong direction which makes the movie look like a cheap copy of "Mind your Language". The movie has surpassed my expectations big time and just go for it.
YESSS!!Sridevi is back!This is a perfect movie to watch with family.The movie makes everyone realise the value of their mother.The English class room itself is full of fun and life.Priya Anand is really cute and appears to us as the girl next door.Sridevi loves her family unconditionally, even when they insult her.Sri's expression when her husband says 'my wife is born to make ladoos.She knows nothing except making ladoos' is very impressive.And the final speech of her is a slapstick for her husband and daughter who treats her as a 'good for nothing' housewife.Sri's classmates as well as her English teacher stays in our mind even after walking out of the theatre.But Sridevi scores the maximum mark in the test and our hearts obviously.A very simple story yet a neat beautiful story,not to be missed.Big B's cameo appearance was simply superb and waves of laughter filled the theatre then.Gauri Shinde has done a great job.And no need to say about versatile actress Sridevi's performance.
