You have touched at right place. Even I felt one should not feel disturbed & helpless but angry and revolting.Application to various government seems to be showing confidence in political system which has actually become rotten but it seems Aamir wants to look a saner person. He wishes to expose but not take it to ultimate logical conclusion.

by parasaruna on May 27, 2012 01:29 PM

Education is most important thing any anybody,s life. Nowadays in schools Teachers donot teach properly to students and force them to join tuitions. This is burning issue.Oneside high schools Fees and on other side heavy burden of tuition fees. Pl.look into the matter and take appropriate action. Paras Doshi

Amir and Issues
by raja nisha on May 12, 2012 03:12 PM  | Hide replies

Illegal abortions ( result of rapes, love affairs among minors , atrocities on helpless women etc etc ) is a more serious problem than female foeticide today. Why Amir do not take up this more serious issue ?. He is a celebrity and gets the publicity. People of this country never forget what treatment Anna Hazare got after the movement on Jan Lokpal. If it impacts politicians they will find a way to crush them. Female foeticide is not an issue of vote bank. Once the TV broadcast is over people will forget Amir and the issue. Best suggestion. Let Amir stand for the next MP election win and become a minister in charge of Peoples Grievances.

What do you expect - All issues should be taken at the very first episode. Perhaps, the scale and spread in India of the foeticide is not of your concern and priority and also because the issue does not make it to the vote bank . Still, one day that you may not ignore it at all when the problem really stare at you in your face. Who has not become hurt after Anna's
ungloriously faded stalemate. Now, there are many issues which are not taken by any party but these are significant issues e.g. human rights V security of the country. No party speaks for human rights at all, it is always security that is everyone's concern as they may fear of being tagged unpatriotic. I am in favour of crushing Maoists but at the same time, I want Sharmila's long fast in North East India to be over who is looking for some political support for the repeal of AFPSA. There are other issues of governance like black money generation. It is done mostly by
land sales - perhaps some party can take a stand on it to reform but nobody does. A lingering thought
about any problem is the most effect any movie or any TV episode can aspire for in viewer's mind. As for Aamir joining the politics, I would not recommend it, however if he wants to reform the politics, I will definitely welcome him or someone else to create a party that people can really vote for - a graft free party, who may offer hope over despair. At present, people don't have any choice but to vote for the corrupt one - which all parties are.

Rubbish article
by unknown on May 11, 2012 08:40 PM

Non-sense article.
Its very easy to pull once leg and put unwanted and unnecessary remark.Instead of promoting the programs which taps on social issues, politically influenced media always pulls legs who want to make some change to the society. Sheelaji, what you want to prove here, you want Aamir to make some constitutional laws, Aamir is just trying to put the real picture infront of us, its we who need to decide and make laws for our-self, he is just a mediator to make aware of our daily issues?? grow up Sheelaaji and try to support such genuine cause if at all u get a chance to write an article in future
