Saw it just for time pass but I was amazed with perfomace and the sheer story of the movie as advertised it is not about a gold medalist who turned into a bandit but its about all the gold medalist who end up starving to death or sell there gold medals for food, the film tell the typical stereo type society where a gold medalist is not given any special treatment despite his achievements and his caliber which made his nation proud but the system respects a person with a gun/power in his hands AWESOME FLICK MUST WATCH FOR THE YOUTH AND SOCIETY.
Irfan's is a method actor so he is capable of adapting to any role he gets asked to portray and make it believable. His eyes are also very expressive and he uses it in the movie to display emotions, without saying a single word. Furthermore, it's really unfortunate that he has been around since "Salaam Bombay" but still hasn't been given his due in Bollywood. He is a very talented actor like Nasseruddin Shah and Om puri.
The movie was doing it's round in the film festivals for last 2 yrs.. the reviews were fab out thr..specially Irfan's acting.. well probably that was expected as Tigmanshu Dhulia is a good dir

we are eagerly waiting to see our beloved Appu's Anna Bond..it will be great movie..if fact, the only reason Artist won some many oscars is that Anna Bond did not release early..

to all his own...i would rate mohan lal too in top 10 indian actors of all time, but then there are so many brilliant actors that it is wrong to rate them, but just enjoy their movies.
