Irrfan Khan is a terrific actor. There are a very few hindi films that have given him a role that match up with his potential. He is the Naseeruddin Shah of current generation.

Encouraging response & Appreciation for a Biopic of an Indian
by Joy Jacob on Mar 03, 2012 03:25 PM

Long time before, I have seen a biopic \"Dhoop\" which was also enlighten me a lot, and an eye opener.this time PST. Having seen it my belief became stronger that one can\'t change the system by being out of the system, instead one can only satisfy his/her anger towards the system by trying another system (being rebel), until his/her end.
Being management student, when I listen about a film on a true story, since the end of 2010, I started to following it\'s director and the lead actor. What I learnt is that, director did rigorous research to justify the story and character. Hence the same did by lead actor Irfan Khan. He even refused to do some films for PST. Once he also mentioned that the most trying role he ever portrayed is PST. Now both are rewarded for their meaningful efforts. In Bollywood, very few actors are as such. Most of the Bollywood actors and actresses , in the morning they shoot for a comedy film, afternoon for a romantic film and night for an action film. How we can expect to see them into the skin of a character.

Remember Nirmala's Husband on DD??
by ARVIND RATHORE on Mar 03, 2012 11:09 AM  | Hide replies

He has been a terrific actor since good old days on DoorDarshan. He was liked as Nirmala's Husband way back in late 80s I suppose! Commercial success has come late for him, but nevertheless, he was and still is one of the finest actors!!

I don't know the serial you are talking about. But I have tracked Irrfan Khan since the time he was seen in Bharat Ek Khoj and Chanakya. Even on small screen, he was a great actor. Then there was a series of short stories called Star Best Sellers in which Irrfan Khan stole the show. Every role, big or small - Irrfan Khan has made it memorable.
