Cant compare both..both belong to different era..but SRK has been the biggest movie star over the last 2 decades, while RK was for the period 1969 to 1971 when he had the 15 consecutive hits.

SRK...in not original. Copies Rajesh Khanna, Amitabh and sometimes Dilip Kumar. He is already outdated.
The media made this up, 1st superstar? This is just a media invention, Dilip Kumar and Dev Anand were superstars before him.
What i do not understand and please can some RK fans explain to me, If he was such a craze what happened to his fans in 1975 onwards where did they go?? Was india nuked with a nuclear bomb and they all died, i mean if he had such fan following where did all his fans go within years???
This proves that his craze is be exaggerated and overplayed. Either he had NO true fans or either this is all madeup!

you are right that Dev & Dilip too were stars in their own right but what made Khanna one notch aove or should I say a few candella's brighter than these two stars were the fact that he gave a string of superhits one after the other & was still a bachelor & was raw & not stale.The above two superstars were apart from being married had already spent 25 years in Bollywood. So when Mr Khanna stepped in , he gave a new laese of life to romance , his mannerisms were new & different & was lapped up by one & all specially the women.
