Go and be there at Mannat's (SRK's bungalow) in Mumbai for a day and you will get the answer. BTW, the lipstick marks on the car are not the only criteria for super stardom... Undoubtedly SRK pulls crowd more than any one else not only in India but abroad. I know abuses will be hurled at me... But thats the fact about SRK's presence!!!

SRK is no where close to what Rajesh Khanna was. The euphoria that he created was seen very briefly for Hrithik Roshan when kaho na pyar hai was released. I remember people going crazy. There were furore on his statements in Nepal, there was a political party in africa using him as a mascot and... there were girls dying for him. I remember, he once stepped out in a packed cricket stadium and every side he raised his hand to crowd went berserk. AM sure RK would have been much beyond that. SRK could never get even match Hrithiks charm.
Rajesh Khanna's rise was contributed to a large measure by Kishore Kumar and SD/RD Burman, and vice versa. The combination was fantastic and will be remembered for many more years to come. It's this mix that makes this man one of the greatest products of bollywood, of all times.

Rajesh Khanna lived in with Tina Munim & Anju MAhendru & million others,throwed out Dimple from his home..Yes,SRK has not done that..

Shahrukh has an excellent PR machinery working... hes 1000 times better business man than RK... RK was just a kalakaar and people following him was natural.
