nanban message 1) to dupe for others in engineering college already a pondichery minister is in trouble doing that 2) to say education system is flawed when our system produced the greats like abdul kalam and swaminathan who studied in mit chennai.3) to steal question paper and do vacuum pump delivery to show engineering skills, a technician with common sense can do it. senseless vijay fans need to ask vijay to learn acting and not just do the aslndnd just not do the aska lasku pakki dancing forever. useless nanban abd useless vijay
i'm one of those ppl who watched the hindi version and i can say that i enjoyed both movies. The role is suited Vijay more than Aamir though Aamir is better actor im saying is role wasn't suited. But it was good for vijay. Jeeva did very well, As well as Sathyaraj. family entertainer. I recommend this movie. Regardles if you've watched the original or not.
You do see shades of the Hindi remake, but it has Shankar's touches as well----whoever has written this haven't seen the original.. i think....i recaped the '3 idiots' once again after seeing Nanpan.. and what i found then there were not a single scene.. or even a single shot that was not in the original......Except for the picturisation of songs, there was nothing new in the film....And of course '3 idiots was much better than Shnakar version......With such a big budjet and technique at his disposal,,, i expected much more... Anyhow thankyou Raj kumar Hirani for such a plot and treatment that Shankar couldn't even spoil.....

Totally agree...i expected much more than the copy paste version...if u realise even the jacket are the same for mathavan and sri kanth ( do they really have to wear whatever from original)..they said shankar did more diffrent than 3 idiots but from what i watched and compare..its totally the same...overall..vijay with his Moustache and hair style..never looked like a 20 year old student...more like 30 obvious..sri kanth and jeeva did his role the best and credit goes to sathya-raj and \'silencer\'...overall, if u watched 3 idiots please dont watch this...if u never watched 3 idiot...please do watch for a diffrent story line..

good selection of actors in nanban film.. can you able to imagine your thala rajni as a college student, change your stupid thought shankar-rajni, sankar-vijay.. both are equa.. amir 50 varsama nadikiraaru avar kooda vijay ah compare panni paakriyea you don't have any sense. comparison is no need hear bcoz thay already say that its is an remake and "the good film no need to change and sankar says that can't able to change".. just follow sankar sir... if he change the seans mean you people says "story spoil panitaan".. no need that just watch tamil version, don spread msg like this, if u know hindi just keep it urself, lot more people hear without knowing hindi. worth watch film and all time entertainer "NANBAN"

And add the remakes that didnt click in BO lik kuruvi,Aadhi,Villu,etcc...since 2k vijay surviv thru only remake films...Gilli,Pokiri,velayutham and now nanban were all blockbusters but all r remakes..what a pity 4 vijay..the boneless actor..who dont hav guts to act in orginal scripts in past 10 years...Better leav tamil industry..He is such a copy cat actor..But Nanban is absolutely not better than 3 idiots..I cant watch even single scene on tv itself..because 3 idiots is a classic,i had watched more than 5 times..
shankar has made everyone laugh by projecting the hero who knos only dancing to talk about edication system and question the great like abdulkalam. many scenes shown as comedy like removing pants show vulgarity and showing aperson memorizing in engineering as a comic makes the director itslef a comic as many internal exams in engineering are open book exams and all based on concepts and algorthms. and just by opening all machines and looking at it you can only become a technician and a hero cannot excel in all subjects by just opening all machines . the film lacks all logic so as my friend below tessls even all is well became a comdey and all scenes are a comedy better vadivelu would have been happy to be ajiva or srikanth.
Shankar hav puts many comedy scenes compared to 3 idiots ! and it works very well ! Hats off to the Nanban team ! Aaaaaaaaaaall Iiiiiiizz Weeeelll for Vijay fans !! and Jiiva fans also !
