I don't think this happened in India this frequently before. the vulgar item numbers and open commoditisation of women by the film industry is equally to blame. there is no rating system in the film industry, any thing goes. Talk about controls through rating and these people will scream artistic freedom.
What kind of family background do secularists come from? Their commitment to their cause is so inspiring that I would like to know the background of these anti nationals.
Film fraternity has come out in open support of Delhi Rape victim with candle light vigil.They have conveniently forgotten that rape and exploitation exists rampantly in their profession. They call it "Casting Couch" though in fact it is worst than rape.Rapists lose their balance of mind for a moment and turns sexually violent. "casting Couch" is systematic and continuous exploitation of helpless women, crazy enough to to be laid for the sake of name and fame and money.Film Artists can not take moral high grounds in matters like this.It is a double speak.

agree with you ,i know in saudi they directly hang those guys i saw it .they dont care if you are rich or powerful as long as the guilt is proven they will punish you.if sharia law is implemented i think there wont be much of a crime

I am sure neither of you- Sameer and Rahul have never been to the Gulf. I have lived there for 10 years and know what goes on there. Just see the traffic pile up on weekends on the Saudi Bahrain causeway. The rich guys from Saudi down to Bahrain just to have a weekend of everykind of fun. This happens in the name of tourism but think of the girls.. who undergo rape every weekend in the hands on not less than 10 maniacs and literally held hostage by hotels and operators , forced to live in cramped rooms...That is worse than Delhi rape..

what kinds of families ? The same families in control of media and entertainment especially (indian film industry) whose loose moral values have led to this kind of depravity. Nobody takes about the item songs and their effect on society, nobody takes about films and TV shows from the ekta and bhatt camps and least of all nobody takes about the western way of life that have infected our youth in this this age of I, ME, Myself attitudes, fast buck and instant gratification generation. Scores of debates on the telly but nobody willing to touch these subjects. Not even the poster boy for the far left liberal janta, Amir Khan on his SJ show.

The most relevant factor is what made these particular rapists think that poor victim "needed to be" raped?
Ever since the BPO industry flourished and women started working at night, sexually frustrated men have been spreading lies about BPO centers being scenes of Roman orgies in which women working in these centers willing participate!
The other culprit is Bollywood which blindly imitates Hollywood in its portrayal of female characters!
After watching these idiotic Bollywood movies, illiterate and frustrated men think women love the kind of nonsense that is shown on the screen!
With no stringent laws to prevent them from acting on their animal urges, these animals think it is OK to rape as women love this kind of treatment!
