Blistering barnacles! Your right, Mr.Sen!!
by sumie beg on Nov 27, 2011 02:56 PM

Yes! First time I agree with you.
I have been an avid reader from childhood days and I was dying to be the first person to see it. Did it recapture those child days moments? Nah!!!
It was disappointing to see that there was lack of character development and creativity. I think it was one of the most terrible voice acting I have seen. Only Daniel Craig seems to be the saving grace.
And the 3D?? Super-bakwaas! It was like wearing sun-glasses the whole time.

Dear Raja,
I have always enjoyed your reviews. our views match mostly but honestly i love the love that you get in the message section the most... but you are spot on with this one/. i was so SO waiting for this movie... and spielberg and jackson - can it get any better? mash of various tintin adventures, disappointing haddock, dialogues are movie crisps and not here originals - really saddened by this. sacrilege. a patch higher than RaOne which is not very high!

A disappointing review. Honestly. What else do you want in an adventure/animation movie? Emotional performances that are worth getting Oscars? I

The movie reviews of Raja Sen lacks taste !!
by Anand Desai on Nov 15, 2011 12:22 PM

Mr Sen, your reviews are the most inconsistent thing I've ever seen and at times it seems you write such misleading reviews to get cheap publicity. Grow up, dude.

I mean, you gave that movie 'Buddha hoga tera baap' 4 stars!! And called it 'uber cool'. I'm also a great fan of Big-B but that can't blind my judgement.

Go take some lessons from Rajiv Masand.

Nitpicking nincompoop!!

Mr Raja Sen,I think you did not really understand the movie. You talk as if you are the only Tintin fan. Even I have grown up on tintin. Infact I still read it. An adaptation of a book is never literal. How can u turn a 62 page book into a 2 hour movie? U have to take cinematic liberties as long as you stay true to the characters and the basic plot.
The sub-plot of Crab with the golden claws was neccesary as the film was not made only for "tintin fans" like you but also for people who have not read the book. The introduction of haddock with tintin is one of the very entertaining pieces in the tintin series and it was needed in the film.
AS a comic Tinitin was superior to anything around with its brilliant artwork and attention to detail in landscapes, perspectives
color schemes etc. The same could not be said of Bernesconi's "The adventures of tintin" which made it weak. I never liked it. Although it was loyal to the original books, the pace felt rushed and where is the imagination in sticking totally to the books. Something which u said the movie lacked and here you are praising something which lacked imagination. the characters never built up in the animated Bernesconi's "The adventures of tintin".

You do such foolish reviews and you actually are a film critic by profession? OsGOTH,baboon, ectoplasm, fresh water jellyfish!!
The movie along with all the characters was phenomenal!! Spielberg has more wisdom in his tail bone then u have be

Trust me, dude! Raja Sen is right this time. It was a huge dissappointment...Can't believe it from Spielberg. One of the worst adaptions. Even the 3D sucks!
