The Adventures of Tintin : The Secret of the Unicorn by Steven Spielberg is indeed a wonderful film with fantastic characters, animation and rivetting moments...it does not have a single dull moment in fact and keeps the viewer engrossed from the beginning until the end. Raja Sen is indeed nit-picking and has writtent a hopelessly biased and rubbish review reeking of arrogance and self-importance. Even if the director has taken a few liberties in the sub-plots, like the first meeting between Tintin and Captain Haddock on a ship, it fits in pefectly with the overall plot and does not at all seem to be out of place in the film. This is undoubtedly one of the best Hollywood movies of the year - animation or otherwise- and is a delightful watch for children and adults alike.

I just saw the movie last night and fully agree with you. It is a great film. Raja sen is indeed mad.
raja sen is a blithering idiot. the film is awesome. don't believe this review. this is the same guy who said batman begins sucked. raja sen, you are an idiot. please believe it and stop writing reviews. what do u know of cinema? guys, the film is awesome - pure magic.
The movie cannot be actually followed by people who don't know about the Tintin from the comics. There is no proper introduction to the characters.I think the kids will like it only for the action sequences, but definitely not for the story. And obviously the action sequence, though beautifully rendered, cannot remain in your head for long. The best thing that the kids WILL remember for a long are the comics. So parents, please get them those.

Sushanth, this movie will make kids interested in comics. I took my daughter and she enjoyed every bit. She has asked for all the comics now.

Righto. I think the same. Kids would like to read the comics to know more about Tintin and Red Rackham.
Why would anyone want to watch Tintin in animation? It's like watching animated movie of Spiderman in theater. If it was played by real characters, I'd have watched, but there's no sense in watching an animated movie of Tintin.

Mohit please go and watch the movie in 3D and you will change your views. It is class. Tintin cannot be made with real characters as there is a lot of action which cannot be replicated in real time. Steven speilberg has brought in the essence of the comic version and has done a commendable job.
