Both Mammooty and Mohanlal won National award prviously only because of More Mallu jury member present in past but now nearly no one there so Mallu got few awards and so salim deserve to get an award....

Both mammotty and mohanlal would have got at least 6 national awards each had it not been for the north Indian jury. who gave the awards to anil kapoor, saif ali khan and amitabh Bacchan. Last time mamooty did 6 different roles and still did not get it because of ramesh sippy.

Anil Kapoor deserved that award?? Have you seen "Pukar" and his acting?? Holy shit!!! It's happend only becoz the BJP govt was ruling at that time and about Amithab's first award, it should have been given to Malayalam actor "Thilakan", for his mesmerizing role in "Perunthacchan", but Jury want to give a farewell to Amithab, so he has given award for the role in C grade movie like "Agneepath". (Well, no objection to his award with "Black", that he deserves)

yes. anil and bachan deserve it. but not for the roles they got award for the movies. they dont really deserve award when perunthachan was there, when dada sahib was there, wen paleri makyam was there.

Only wish these reputed people spend a little time in pronouncing names properly. The way the names of pictures and stars were pronounced by most it apperaed that they were foreigners. No, foreigners do a better job!
It is so nice to hear Salim Kumar won the prestigious National Award for BEST ACTOR.All award committees never gave an award of this stature to any better performing actors like him instead always to one or two permanent actors.Heartening to note there are juries who really see the acting talents than the actors' status in filmdom.A better sensed change.
I have been a fan of Salim Kumar's comedy. Its great that his acting talent has been recognized at the national level. Hope to see his award winning performance very shortly. All the best.
