congrats Salim Kumar

if a popular comic actor cast in a serious role can win the natiiona award before a non malayalee jury, it only shows the high quality of acting displayed. in general film watchers of all indian languages, note in india malaylaee actors have high quality. soem of the seniors who are stilla round like mohan lal, mmmoooty, nedumudi, innocent, jagathy have very high standards that youngsters follow suit. Salim Kumar is lucky to win above many other top malayleees like nedumudi, jagathy, innocent etc.Congrats Salim Kumar.

..and explain with a note that in hindi films best actors are decided by
1. size of his muscle
2. connection to some dubai/lahore/karachi don
3. acting in films based on stories of dons, portaying them as the heroes

He is good but not the best
by Senso Johnson on May 21, 2011 06:24 AM

He is good but not the best.

Watch him closely when he is standing still and his supporter is doing dialog in a movie. You can see him very uncomfortable. His eyes will start shivering.
