I don't know why I didn't think anything in this movie was close to great. I knew when the movie started that India is going to win. I know the last ball would be a sixer or a 4 runs. It was long 4 hours boring task

Going by your logic, we should not watch any Hindi movie..Because when a movie starts we know hero will kill the bad men, hero and herioine will be together at the end and so on and so forth

Totally agreed. I was a blid fan of Aamir. And then i joined his Facebook and read some of his comments and posts. Now I feel he is pretty shallow. I am still a fan but...
aamir says He din't have any unsuccesful film before lagaan n then claims that Mela and mann were hits ..what a joke
rediff says aamir hasn't delivered a flop after lagaan, What bout mangal pandey and dhobi ghaat? aamir says sync sound was never used before, sync sound was used long before in multiple movies ,was even used in satte pe satta
If media is ignoring then fans of sunny should divulge the truth about India's most succesful film ever... 1)8 shows were run everyday for a month in punjab for Gadar 2) It played in more than 20 theaters for months in Delhi alone 3 ) With inflation adjusted and in non multiplex age, Gadar still remains as number one grosser of all times.. as per boxofficeindia
4) gadar was produced by IIM guy Nitin Keni. It was officially first ever corporate film of india, All the shootings were done on schedule following corporate culture and pre defined budget.

dost, is lagaan a gud film ??? the answer ends it...the sunny story can also be celebrated....but not here... Aamir is the most respected of all actors of today not only because his films do well but also because he puts in so much of thought & perfection in his art...also he is independant of the castes,releigion & areas..his films do well all across...... :-))))))

i think u r jealous of khan so u are talking about.....people think sunny should retire after ghatak....he is becoming old crab...now with ghayal returns 1 more flop is added to it..... shame on such a good actor he was years ago

thnk firoz khan is thinking like mad otherwise collections of gadar were much higher than that of lagan.Also its not sunny but 5 footiya amir has gone mad as he has fallen from lagan to dkbose.. shame on him

Absolutely right. Gadar is still a treat to watch. The movie never slows down at all. Lagaan is also a great movie but you feel lost sometimes.

All these people will bark on Khans on these forums and they will be the first to watch any movies starring Khans. PITY your situation guys.
Aamir does everything for publicity of his films. Before release of Lagaan, he was going to different cities, dancing on the road, showing his movies to politicians,cricketers, media persons etc. But his film was out classed by Gadar at box office right from the day one.Actually Lagaan was overhyped movies which was predictable from interval. Sunny was calm and remained silent even after super success of Gadar. If Lagaan is discussed here, success of Gadar should also be celebrated.

You are a joke... None could have done gadar like sunny and any other actor would have given hundreds of interview after a movie like gadar.. Sunny is the only actor who has two national awards for main stream action cinema.... People like you start believing whatever media says and believe in that.. aamir is fantastic actor n 3 idiots n sarfarosh were far better than lagaan..

amir is just media hyped actor. he has 2 pay media for all his publicity stunts.And here sunny lacks mktg skills, otherwise he is much actor better than amir.
