Lagaan is a classic....it has all the ingredients of a blockbuster movie. The film is close to 3.5 hours but not a minute is boring.Kudos to Ashutosh Gowariker and Aamir Khan to back him.
Lagaan doesn’t have any goofy scenes and was appreciated all over the world, Did Gadar did the same with Sunny’s indigestible achievement like removing bore well single-handedly even an elephant can’t do that ??LOL

Really scenario has changed after lagan.Luk at amir himself who after making superb movies like rdb & tzp, suddenly start producing trash & b-grade movies like delhi-belly with d-grade songs like dkbose .Now he is showing his true colours.He is actually a pseudo-intellectual.

Good one ! They want to prove their creativity by this type of song.. It is 'Cultural freedom'.. I think DKBOSE word is common in Amir family..

no. im from south. this was one of the wonderful movie. it has very high risk to make such movie. beautifully directed and great acting. can u name one in this genre from south also? a big no. also it was never expected such a movie from top actor from bollywood. and it actually changed bollywood movies afterwards. u can check the history.

It changed Bollywood but SOuth Indian films are far higher in quality and technology than Lagaan or any other best of Bollywood. Nothing more than good can be said about Lagaan,

see u have to accept wat is delivered as best. i too agree south movies r much better than bollywood. but lagan is master piece with comercial elements. there is nothing to admit the truth
If you see hollywood movie. they mirror hard reality of life. thats true art. not indian songs with high drum and bass send you in fantasy land. no longer most of indian are walking jombie. totally useless for creating a better life. now days they are trying to make songs with simple word that mirror real experience. songs that keep you in present moment and does not send you in disney land. and keep living a chaotic and dirt life. we need our mind in present so we can create better life style.

you should read Ekhart Tolle book they are very powerful. Ehart learned from indian sages and made it very practical. person of any relegion can read and benefit from him.

I am not here for Gadar vs Lagan. I have not watched even Gadar. I would Gadar also falls into the same category. just like cricket-mania it is pak-phobia.

i thnk firoz khan is thinking like mad otherwise collections of gadar were much higher than that of lagan.Also its not sunny but 5 footiya amir has gone mad as he has fallen from lagan to dkbose.. shame on him

If height equaled talent than Abhisek bachchan would have been one of the superstars of Indian cinema right now! Sunny deol and Aamir are both good actors but Aamir is more versatile. You can see this through the movies he has made so far in his career. Lagaan is an excellent example of such movie.
