ZNMD is a insightful must watch movie! the review is in bad taste
by sharad verma on Aug 20, 2011 01:06 AM

Raja Sen review is shocking, the movie is absolutely fun to watch and quite engaging, after along time there is one good movie with true bollywood style choreography, natural acting, big canvas, engaging story, emotions, reality check.

Finally ...
by werlt on Aug 13, 2011 01:57 PM

Finally someone who can see beyond the cliched boys will be boys routine.. Im totally fed up of middle age men trying to fine their 'inner path' ... and this coming from one of the few women directors is just sad ...

I am glad I read this review after watching the movie -

I have been a fan of Raja Sen. Big fan. Why? Because I believe other people who are self made film critics, give stars according to the payment they receive. Raja's wavelength matched mine. And I loved the fact. Now, I sadly have to refrain from taking these reviews as the only source of inspiration to watch a movie. I promise you Raja, since 'Dor', I haven't missed a single movie review from you but I can't believe you can be so harsh for no reason. I know you are a tough critic but writing off a movie as good as this? Your review looks emotional. May be because you loved the movie from which this is adapted but is it necessary for us to have seen that movie. The characters might be fake, they are fake. But why can't they be fake? Do they have to be closer to reality? Are transformers or lion king real? They are shown as rich and its part of the story. A real Raja Sen would have taken it into his stride after mentioning it in a sentence ot two. First 20 minutes were not good I agree but what about the remaining 2 hours and 15 minutes? If you ask me and the rest of the full movie theater, it was a roller-coaster ride and we loved it! So what if Katrina says what Bond said? She has her own impact in it. I am not a big fan of her but for the first time it looked like she was acting! Actors were fantastic as opposed to what you said. You didn't even care to mention those POEMS! Best I have heard from Javed Akhtar after a while. Where was Raja Sen? Who wrote this review?

Terribly boring movie
by Raghavendra on Aug 06, 2011 06:50 PM

I completely agree with Mr. Raja Sen's review. It is one of those movies that has to be avoided. All in all I found this to be a fairly slow paced boring movie with no real plot to keep the viewer interested. Disappointed.

Raja Sen gets it wrong again!
by sangeetha on Aug 01, 2011 12:33 AM

Raja Sen, you are not the only person in planet who enjoyed Hangover 2, I liked it gtoo even though its a guy movie.
But I disagree with you on ZNMD. Its an inspiring movie. If you were not watching out for Dil Chahta Hai 2, perhaps you
wouldnt have missed the message and emotional content of the movie. I liked it even better than DCH. DCH would have appealed
to the urban youth, but I couldnt feel a connection due to my lack of exposure to the world it portrayed. But ZNMD characters,
their dilemmas and message of the movie has a universal appeal. Its already a hit. I know people who watched it for second time.
I wouldnt mind watching it again. I know people who inspired to reach out to old friends after the movie. I called my family and asked
them to watch this movie. They said the movie is already running to packed houses in my non-hindi hometown, and they are also
planning to watch. And these are people who havent watched a Hindi movie in theater for a decade.

perhaps you should watch ZNMD again. Not for review . For yourself. perhaps you will understand it this time.

1st of all let me say i dislike most of the movies churned out of bollywood barring a few which are released so very seldom, but it was a nice surprise to watch znmd which packed a punch with good acting, dialogues, character build up, story

Mr. Raja Sen does not know how to review a movie..
by Ankit Aggarwal on Jul 29, 2011 07:14 AM

People have been loving ZNMD and I can still see housefull shows even on the weekdays. Even Singham is doing so good and it is indeed a very nice movie.
I just dont understand how can he give such low ratings to both these films (ZNMD, in particular). It seems like he should stop reviewing the films. He doesn't even know what the audience wants and what they love.
