Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara had an excellent first week of around 45 crore nett thanks to super strong business at metro multiplexes. The 8th day was also good at metro multiplexes and the film is set for a good run at these places and possibly a finish of over 70 crore nett. HIT

as per Bollywood Insiders the story is completely different.. BO news is showing fake dubious outputs and movie would not be covering its production costs with distributors are facing huge losses.
and I am not amazed, as this is absolutely true.. just old strategies to market bogus movies.

m completely agree with u.Movie is really a good one.Performances are honest,direction,screenplay,music all is good.. Movies like murder 2 did good and and got good reviews inspite of lot of loopholes in direction and story and pathetic performances...

why people are criticising Raja, just because he is an honest non-paid reviewer.. it shows how desperate are the filmmakers to market any nonsense Garbage movie and Indian audiences are happey to be fooled by bogus escalated ratings.
The movie ZNDM was made only for metro multiplex audiences (less than 2% of the cine goers who can pay 5 times more than single screens for any nonsense idiotic movie) and the movie is badly rejected in single screens (the masses - comprising > 95% of the population).
now all the immature juvenile kids praising this nonsense movie can place themselves in appropriate bracket.
To me a movie is successful only if it appeals Pan-India, not just a tiny insignificant segment..

Single screen is filled with mostly uneductaed peron....do you think they will prefer an intelligent movie or no brainer like ready,dabang or ghajni....think before you write..........
95% population (oonly 5-10% indian population watch movie in cinema hall.....where you got this 95% ????
india is 1.2 billion contry if everyone sees movie in theater movie will make min 500 cr in 1 week.....hope u understand this ..

'multiplex audiences (less than 2%)' -- u r living in stone age. there are 1200 multiplex screens and 11,000 single screens. tht is around 11% and increasing very fast!
'To me a movie is successful only if it appeals Pan-India' -- forget movies, you don't understand 'b' of business. Success of the product is decided based on profit, not based on appeal to all sections! for example 'an Encyclopedia' does not appeal morons like you, but it is still successful as product!!
'raja is honest non-paid reviewer' -- He has lost his credibility. To me, he is a complete fail!
Just because you know some English garbage dont make you a reviewer.A reviewer job is to understand a movie then write.
This movie required a certain level of intelligence to understand...but now days by seeing masala movie again and again there seems a complete lack of understanding of "Cinema".

the movie is rejected by 95% Indians(now I use the term masses) , only 2% metro multiplex goers are liking this movie.. as they really don't have an option, and within those 2%, 90% are those poor guys who never visited any foriegn country.. so its like an adventure trip to these morons.. and nothing more need to be said these undeveloped brains.
real life is much bigger than a fake idiotic bachelor trip, if this tiny trip excites, surely you belong to a small lobby of mediocre minds.
and lastly, dont promote western tourisms.. be Indian.

Single screen movie are watched by peron who loves non brainer movies....beacause most of them are not eductaed and can use brain while watching movie.
That doesnot make movie bad...ZNMD is best movie of the year ...but if someone loves ready garbage...we can understand what is standard he or she following....

People who like this movie seem like an emotional sappy lot. IMO, it was a painful movie to watch, but what is even worse is the hateful comments directed at this critic. It's absolutely ridiculous
Liking a bad movie (of course I agree it's subjective) is okay, but deriding somebody for not enjoying the bad (sic) movie you liked is just absurd. The critic didn't like the movie and has shared his thoughts. It's his personal viewpoint and you gotta learn to respect the fact that people got different tastes.
Personally, I didn't like the movie and I agree with almost everything Raja Sen had said. Great article!! IMO, movie was a total crap. Others might have liked the movie but that's just their preference. To each their own.
cons - At times it reduces to being just a tourism promotion for Spain -Tries desperately to be cool - At times it reduces to just a road trip and flash backs become irrelevant Pros -Freshness of the subject and approach. - Cinematography, Lyrics and music -Well defined characters for each actor.
