This is my 1st bundled movie, which is very boring & meaningless, wasting of time. Very bad thing is its under Amir's production. But why he may have thought to release such foolish script movie. Never expected such movie by amir.
Next time, he must have think deeply before release ow he could lose his impression in public view.

R u fool, it was a house art movie not a commercial cenima. Wat was u expecting from house art movie!! 10 item songs!! stupid this movie was not for people like this was made for class and intellectual public thats y it was released on small scale. But yes there are people like u who always think for sheela ki jawani type of movie!! i feel pity for u.

Please say all the non pornographic movies a good movie because lot of poor people are also associate with Film industry they need to be taken careoff,So go watch movies whatever it is art movie or science movie or commerce movie watch out. spend so that somebody else will earn.

Next time, you must think deeply before putting your comments and clunky sentences out for public viewing.
DG is a collection of silent love stories of four protagonists. A dhobi loses his heart to a bank girl, the bank girl to an artist (amir), the artist to a video girl and the video girl to her husband. All four love stories remain un-successful. Now the big question is WHY on earth we should watch this movie since it has no message, no moral, zero entertainment value and no subject. (Amir will say - please see this as it has been made by my wife). The 95 minute movie looks like 3 hr movie. It strategically does not have an interval since no one will be sitting after interval in any case !! I lost my money on this trash but you please don't.
To start of with its pathetic movie. Though its hardly 2 hrs movie but it becomes impossible to sit after an hour or so..... And worst thing in this is that the title itself is not suitable... There was no relevance to the title......

u can not hold or lock mouth of aam janta it is impossible so let them enjoy by criticising may be people turn out will go up by increasing there curiosity how come Amir Khan can make such movie and after that there opinin will turn out in to more positive one.
I read your review. It plays well with the english words. I dont know why the wall street journal, maxim or the economist do not get inspired to write such reviews but anything more prose and direct is easier to understand. Thanks
I was going thru' the reviews and found them to be most biased and immature. Why does the Indian audience always want stars and box-office pullers - why for once dont they allow freshness in the movie industry!!! Kiran Rao has taken a bold initiative to express her emotions / thoughts with the support of 5 characters only - the striking one being Mumbai - the city of dreams!! Aamir's understated performance ensured that we focussed more on Monica Dogra, Prateik & Kriti Malhotra!! This is a very very simple storyline - but the cinematography is fantastic and the characters are all crisp. Perfection seems to be Kiran Rao's forte - for she ensured that the audience connects to all the 4 stories without getting confused or swayed. The guitar strings added the right note to this beautiful journey of 95 mins. The raw talent of Prateik Babbar & Monica Dogra has been well-utilised. Kriti did a fantastic job - because her's was the most difficult one - speaking to a camcorder!! I am not Aamir Khan fan - but he did add the mush needed stability to the movie... I'd rather call it a journey!! Kiran Rao will be a name to reckon in the next few years provided she gets the freedom to follow her heart - and not get bogged down by the typical masala-film demand of the producers. We need more Kiran Raos in the film industry. Welcome Ma'am.
