Poor students should be helped in every possible way. They should be given free education and other financial/ study help. A poor student studying in a hut with lamp cannot compete with student with A/C room. So, I would like to give them some points preference in the admissions.
I am not responsible for so called low caste's torture 40 years ago because I wasn't even born - more so calling any one low caste and upper caste is stupid. So, people should stop calling any caste as low or high. Who cares?
Rich SC/ST/BC should understand by becoming rich they have become new Brahamins and no longer need any support from the government.

Poor people should be this, should be that, should be....should be...a countless should 'be'es. The reservation has been the inly effective tool which has uplifted the people. Think, so called upper castes will obviously not like the reservation to go, worst even reservation in private sector for them. So nothing surprizing about Brahmins/Baniya ranting on net against reservation. This is a fight for fare share of reserved class, nothing wrong in asserting for reservations. Way to go reserved class, you have the number, don't let this go to these leechers called upper castes.
Do not ban film screening- that is not right of Dalit kanya- Mayawati or a Punjab Chief Minister.
Prime Minister should not let politician's sentiments flow in Indian cinema- POLITICIANS Contribution stands NIL- total Nil, come on Mayawati - give reply to PUBLIC, they may seek your reply. if banning is what we expect from politicians- let PUBLIC too decide it then- are public fools 0r what ? maybe the brahmin kanyas think they can decide the fate of millions of Indians, maybe the kanya thinks wrong.
Just check the level of malnutrition in a person , if he is suffering from severe malnutrition , he should be given reservation in Job and education. Remaining people will be considered equal. Anyone whose skeleton is not partially visible should not get any reservation
So scenes objectionable to the dalits are being removed. What about those scenes where the forward caste is shown in bad light ? So it's ok to have those ?
Its time that the so called upper castes realize that there is a significant number of 'unpriviledged' and oppressed people who need to be led on a 'fast-track' mode towards economic upgradation. Sure, the upper caste will have to make some sacrifices as these are the people who have till now oppressed the lower castes. Important decision making Government bodies should also include SC/ST/OBC's so that society rules are made to favour the upliftment of the backward classes and take stringent action against those who break them. Also the government should impose substantial reservation in private firms and institution as well as the current reservations are limited to public institutions only. Only then India will be a true secular nation.

As ole , there is something called hire and fire in private industry , your as will be laid off as soon as you join , since kamchori cannot save your job for more than 1 month.

hey Mr. Jeetu S. You are acting too smart over here. Have you ever read the objective behing this constitutional implementation of Reservation. This was to be implemented for few years and not for infinite time. Its the politicians like V.P. Singh has bended to gain the vote bank. And when some one is asking you the question as mr zehangir did - "So WHY do you want reservation? Put efforts. Don't expect things free of cost." . You do not have any answers b'coz you fear competition and want to loot the fruits of the hard working people for which the path is laid by the politicians. So better answer to the point or keep your mouth shut instead of demarcating people as Hindus and Muslims . We are Indians first and everyone should have equal opportunity over here.

Reservation should be based on economic condition and not caste. Congress is a stupid political party not to understand this fundamental flaw.
Congress should immidiately dissolve all existing caste reservations and create new system where only those people living below the poverty line will be eligible to get any kind of reservation.
hello friend... i want to tel you live example.. i hold 72 % marks but i didn't get admission in collage... one of friend 58% marks he got admission in the collage...what id did wrong ... because i born in upper class... this is not my fault... any one have answer... i lost my dream... please stop supporting reservation on cast basis. through out this politician those are playing dirty game of cast.
