world creativity is not about exploiting sex, gittanjali. If creativity is about sexual exploitation, then i will watch emmanuelle series of movies. Dont be silly and promote these sex, violence obsessive directors.

yes most of them cleverly manipulate sex filthy language and violence and call it experimental cinema..now you know why kites failed..rather make agneepath than being such hypocrites.....

Instead of targetting me Veda, direct your view to anurag, and K, film makers who follow this formula. And Iam not entitled to explain to you my knowledge of cinema...guess you seem to be ignoramus as you are harping on just one thing!

Any cinema artiste makes movies for his audience. So as long as viewers remain, those people wont stop from making such movies. One thing i notice is that current directors throughout world, are becoming too much depressed and try to hammer world by making movies of same theme. There is no use of being self involved, because it will not only destruct person himself, ultimately it will destruct lovable ones.
Now guys like anurag who make movies ( movies have big impact on people life) based on sex, violence is not only putting himself under huge pressure, but also that of audience. Somewhere in unnoticed part of world, a person who is under huge influence of anurag's movies, might lost with reality of world and will lose himself.
My sincere opinion is that directors throughout world should stop making movies with combination of sex and violence.

god knows:)i think when you have all the resources and no limitations and best actors available..then these guys get uncomfortable:)
This kind of concept and treatment in a hindi cinema is a welcome news...whatever the criticism Anurag, needs appreciation for the raising the bar of making realistic cinema..
Now for how long have missed anything realistic in our bollywood..exclusing regional films?

gitu, that brilliant movie was made by anurag BASU. surely they both share a lot more than name.
Anurag Kashyap, Dibakar Bannerji, Vishal Bharadwaj and recently Anusia Rizvi. They are the most promising directors at present. Well-thought out storylines, new ideas and innovative presentation are the USP of their films. Much better than the Karan johars who heve very less directorial abilities but are more talked about just becasue of the money power that they bring along with their films.
Pppl like kashyap, bhardwaj etc think that we know nothing about the realities of life.Actually we know much better than these so called intellectual filmmakers about hardships of life.Normal ppl go to cinema for entertainment & 2 forget the real life hardships atleast for few hrs. What they claim 2 show dark realities of life r not hidden from we normal ppl.So they r doing nothing special by making these kind of rotten movies. If same stuff & raw language is shown in action movies they r tagged as b-garde. But these filmakers can fall to any lower level & get patted by media. YEH PUBLIC HAI YEH SAB JANTI HAI.

yet it is a risk that these filmmakers take with their reputation and money..not everyones cup of tea.

This movie is for bums like gitanjali, who dont know how to love people around you, whether poor or rich and who are obsessed with money.
