at that time maybe a over consisted of 8 balls. but for whatever reason the two comepeting teams in lagaan had decided beforehand that the match would consist of only one (not two) innings and each over would be of 6 balls and these agreed conditions were clearly announced before the start of the match by a character in the movie played by actor javed khan.
Please stop criticizing the work of aamir. Its just that u'll do not have any other work and so u'll ask the readers to find out bloopers. Its nothing but some kind of a strategy planned by someone to advertise on rediff for aamir's bloopers. Get some news on rediff rather than bloopers
there is no movie made in this world without blooping..REDIFF PLSS GROW UP...there are lot many other important things happenin in this world which serious need some attention.

If you are going to talk about Lagaan and its cricket match....you should also mention that the format of the game was seriously unfair....It was a mix of test and one day rules....The english bat first and bat as long as they want to...And then the Indians are expected to overhaul their score within the three days....That is not how cricket works since this format is patently unfair to the team batting second....If I was the English captain Russel....I would have told my players to preserve their wickets and bat for the best part of three days make up a huge score....and let the indians try to chase it down in 10 overs maybe....this is a valid scenario because there is no concept of a draw here....normally....if the indians batted out the 10 overs without getting bowled out....the match would be considered a draw according to test cricket rules....but the movie leads us to believe that the indians have to overhaul the British score to avoid defeat....I wonder how no one else has talked about this in 10 years....or maybe I missed something somewhere

First get your IQ checked in a decent clinic. Aamir makes movies for people with at least sustainable & functioning brains, may not be suitable for you.
Please don't get hurt after getting the IQ report & know your true sub-human self. You can always console yourself with movies of salman & Shahrukh, who posess the same monkey brain like you.
