Absolutely right! Thanks for those numbers. Actually the system was that both teams will decide how many balls will be in 1 over almost by the time of first world cup (or maybe second).

World cups used to be 60 over matches with 6 ball overs. But yes you are right in a way because there was option available to decide on how many balls will be in one over. The decision was required to be taken by both captains before the match. So this given blooper is not 100% authentic.
In the movie Lagan, it was also shon that a batsman was run-out at the non-striker end by the bowler before delivering the ball. But as the cricket history, Vinu Mankad was the first player to do so during 1950s, due to which the way to get out in such a way was termed on his name- 'MANKADING'. But, Aamir's movie was based on the story of period 1892. How was it?

You guys are gone mad. This was a pure entertaining movie. A pure fiction, and comparing this to real life situations including who got hit wicket first and all is absolutely idiotic. Are you guys gone to movie as critical acclaimer or purely to enjoy the movie. If this how you guys start seeing movies, possibly you never watch the famous cartoons shows Tom and Jerry or Mickey and Donald, as we see many times the cat get burned badly and the mouse fall from 32000 feet and all and still alive. Thank god you guys have not asked a question, how come Mickey, even after 100 years look still young. Grow up guys. Enjoy the movies rather picking holes in them.

My friend, nobody here tells that they didn't enjoy the movie. Thats why it is called Blooper. We have to dig out unreal info from films and highlight that.

Because it was the match played in two unregistered teams with ICC. they were playing fictional cricket on village vs company level. event you are talking about happened at international level. so may be that's why they didn't registered that?
I hope this silly answer will satisfy your crazy question.
