what stupid lyrics "India bula liya" is it past tense? but CWG is yet to happen, so why past tense? and who is the singer, Rahman himself? Why do south indians try to sing hindi songs, beats me. Music might be great but the voice sounds childish.

Rahman should only stick to composing and should not sing any songs except Qawwalis.

I like the music. All this controversy is an attempt to divert attention from the corruption that plagues CWG and to use Rahman as the scapegoat. Rahman's singing is just too good towards the end. The ending beats are so energetic. Cant see whats wrong with this song.
it's not fair to put a finger on rehman's ability. not a single musician in India is even near his shadow. rest all are plagiarist, nothing more. if cwg theme song's contract should not have been given to rehman then would anu malik deserved it ??(lol)
but more important is that was it necessary for rehman to take 5.5 crore for composing a song. then where is feeling of an indian. if this money would be given to any musician of europe or america, he would do this work happily. at least on this event he should have been honorary not mercenary.
now because country had paid him rupees, he should have been treated as a paid worker not as an true indian. he must compose another and another song till the masses receive a good song.
Rehmans CWG theme song is just horrible...its too noisy...bad Hindi pronouciation...bad lyrics...should be scraped immediatly! Plus Rehman does not have a persona or personality to be on the stage. His E-style...poor copy of Pop singers is pathetic. CWG is an International event. We have huge talent in India from East...West...North...South...great musicians....great singers...great looking stars....great stage performers. We should hire right people for the right job and A.R.Rehman should be thrown out! CWG in totality is the hight of corruption in India. Throw Congress out!
Rehman is a horrible singer but in past he has cleverly tried to hide behind his computer controls, Sythesiser and loud music. He is a lucky musician who has been appreciated and pampered in India far more than his worth. Slumdog Millionaire music was below average but the movie was a hit all over the world and he got free publicity. He pretends and claims to be a shy person but in reality he grabs every opportunity to be on the stage and in the media.
I agree that RAHMAN WAS GOD OF MUSIC and not IS, CWG theme song(and few of his album's of recent past) is not up to the mark, I am still not able to trust that its ROJA Rahman who've composed it, I am really sorry to say this :( Hope to hear the best songs of his in coming future
Ever since Oscars,Rahman is grossly overrated and has become overconfident that whatever he dishes out in the name of music, people will accept and praise it. Time for a reality check for Mr.Rahman
Why Why Why is a mish mash called a song? Do the lyrics come recycled from Bhappi Lahiri tunes and is the music a ripoff from some international rock concert?

ARR is internationally famous and many American music stars selected him to work with them for his talent...
