actually.. I agree.. If you saw the episodes, the editing was bad to put it mildly.. They repeated many contestants from the first episode, it suddenly switched to some scenes in the later rounds and in the end was a total mess...
I almost confused the episode on saturday to be the same as the one telecasted friday.. especially the starting, the lady with Achari Mutton and some others shown twice
Show is super HIT concerning every family's basic concern i.e. FOOD and batter then BIG BOSS 4 noncence. Raters are free to give any sort of individualised rating ( as it is their own openion ) but we Indians watch the show and form our own rating. According to many of us Good luck to Akshay, STAR TV and BULLSHEEET to the rater who it seems does not know how much pain goes to present this type of show and also mach it with the INDIAN taste

ha ha ha Ryt Indian....reeeediffff has some problemssss with Akki..they give wrong ratings to almost all his movie...
Raja Sen gave 1.5 star to Housefull which Later on turned to be the biggest hit of the year :-)
I wonder why do we rely so heavily on Foreign reality shows adopted for India. I mean KBC (who wants to be a millionaire) , Indian Idol (American Idol),Indias Got Talent (America's Got Talent),Khatron ke Khiladi (Fear Factor), Spiltsvilla(Tempation Island)and now Masterchef are all shows that are dumbed down and made shrill and jaring with the participants ethier jumping with joy like keyed up Monkeys or Yelping like idiots or breaking down in tears at the drop of the hat or the mention of the words "maa ".If they really want to copy shows they might as well copy the civilized reactions of the participants and the fact the results are declared on at one go and not streched to breaking point with the participants names repeated over and over again. I Mean dont we have a single creative mind in the whole host of channels who can think of a show which is not an insult to our sensebilities.

You are so right. I cannot imagine that in a large country like India we cannot make one original TV show. I am thinking that our TV/Film world id populated with talentless hacks who got there only due to their connections or so. The funny thing is that
I have seen ordinary Indians in Schools/Colleges/Socities give more original content than these idiots.
I used to curse DD when I was a child. But good lord, the quality of programs on DD was so much better than what we have now.
Unlike the Indian idol or the other singing or dancing competitions, masterchef can not whip up the spectator frenzy as they can not be inolved in voting or can not taste the dishes to decide for themselves the dish on offer.
He didn't rely on easiest routes like quiz show or dance show, he did a sports stunts show and now cookery and made them successful. SALUTE THE HIGHEST TAXPAYER OF INDIA.

u should watch Masterchef Australia. the Indian version sucks!! its high time we grow up and stop the emotional dramas on TV series.
I absolutely agree with the critic , the first episode was a disaster hope the producers pull up their socks & deliver a show with some class similar to master chef australia ( great show) , i do understand the constraint when catering to the indian audience but pls stick to the international standards , do not make it too loud & crap let it be more stylish in terms of presentation & i am sure akshay can deliver better along with the team , pls remember you are not only catering to the subcontinent viewership but an international audience , Buck up akshay & star plus .
