Seems the demand for the original tamil version Endhiran was high than the dubbed version even with the north indian audience. Distributors should have gone for more prints for Endhiran than Robot. Now this is the proof that the movie has broken all language barriers.

Why should Americans watch a Tamil movie. Do you really think Americans watch Hindi movies? Do you watch Japanese and Russian movies?
I live in America. They dont laugh at any culture, because they are civilized. Its north Indians, the millions of illiterates and semiliterates, who ridicule and laugh at others. Which is why north India is rated by UN report (UNDP) as the most backward, illiterate and poor part of the world.
The exact words are: 400 million people living in Eight primarily Hindi speaking states of North India live in worse form of poverty illiteracy and backwardness than even the number of people in the 25 most backward and poor nations of Sub Saharan Africa.
There is a reason why the north is so backward. They will never improve and not like others progress. Exactly your mentality.

Read Aaamir own comment about 'Rajni Sir' and his performance in this film.
Finally if you admire these actors like Aamir, learn from them the quality of humility and respect that they show others like Rajni.

Did you read Big B's blog about Rajini's movie premier in Bollywood that Big B and other top stars of Bollywood attended. Big B stated that after teh show was over Amir Khan kept asking the director of Robot the intricate details about how he managed to capture such a fantastic effort on screen. Big B's words were, "...after teh show was over, Aamir kept eating the brains of the director..."
YOu need to show some respect to teh South Indian film world, if your icons like Aamir and Big B, for both of who I have a lot of regard and respect.
Why do you guys have to behave so uncivlized when you have such cultured people like Big B and Aamir as the beacons of Hindi cinema. I tell you, you guys should learn from your own stars how to behave like cultured and refined members of the human society.

My dear Rajni fans I have been observing a lot of hatred towards Amitabh Bachchan from you. I am a fan of both the superstars Rajni style is unmatchable similariy AB’s versatility is tremendous, infact the comparison'w between Rajni and AB are pointless since both are very good in their own domain. AB is senior to Rajni. Also Rajni owns a lot of his superstardom to AB since a majority of his earlier hits were remakes/adapations from AB's hindi hits.

Ruchika ji, you are wrong, how could Rajini's earlier hits be copies of AB's movies? Rajini came to Tamil cinema and was initially playing negative roles in which his films were hit. In contrast, the only film in which AB played a clear negative role was 'Parwaana' along with Navin Nishchal and Yogita Baali, which was not remade into Tamil. Also pls. remember that either from Hindi or from Tamil it is "hit" films that are copied, not films from Amitabh or Dharmendra. John Johnny Janardan or some movie was remade into Tamil starring Rajini because it was loosely based on AB's Naseeb, not because of AB but because its hit status.Mahesh Bhatt remade Gentleman into Hindi but its hero in Tamil was Arjun, a great actor but not as famous as Rajini or Kamal. It was remade because the original in Tamil was a hit. Look before you leap madam. It is ok to lecture about regional preferences, if you want to sermon someone, pls. sermon Bombay Citizen. He says Tamilians in America only will like it. So Tamilians are wrong in some way to land in USA is it? How many similar regionalistic comments have you seen coming from South Indians? I have great respect for AB and appreciate it. But past glory is past glory. India won ODI world cup in 1983, but still can't be claiming to be the ODI champions. Can we? It is 27 years and it is time to move on. Catching the drift?! Sholay is 30 years now. We are in a different century in case you didn't notice.
Note that TN's population is only about 7 crores (or 5% of India's population). But wait and see the official worldwide collection of Endhiran (and its Hindi & Telugu versions). Call him clown or buffoon but collections speak for him.
A Hindi movie has to at least match it if not proportional to the Hindi population before you can really speak up.
