All the taxes paid by us re being spent on north.. but still according to UNDP reports northern states are compared to sub saharan african countries.... why is it like that..
i am great fan of rajinikant after seeing the film i bit confused why he selected this childish story, regarding shankar i think his childhood dream that is after seeing gaint robot serial in tv doordharshan in 1985 he did in 2010,poor direction,hats off to maran for your marketing skills,without rajinkant the movie is zero , these all matured people taking very childishly ,if i get a opportunity to meet shankar first my slipper talks and my hand talks,banned shankar from the field
Shankar has claimed its a dream project but in reality a big let down. The Graphics provided in this film especially train fights and the climax are set to become an international joke in one or two years and already a national joke.
2) The dialogues are very plastic, the story line has morphed Aishwarya that has morphed her poor acting, very animated. Shankar should've at least portrayed a heavy storyline for the love triangle between the three. It would saved the film in spite of all the flaws.
3) Robot apparently need to fight with rowdies in side the train for 10 minutes, gets beaten and bruised its a comical point in the film full of substandard graphics, but apparently it can take on hundreds of Military men and tanks and dispatch it without fuss. Are the audience idiots?
5) Rajini abducts Aishwarya and needlessly destroys 100 cars, 200 bikes and 500 police,shades of B grade telugu film at its worst but it provides the comedy element plus headache.
6)The views of Chennai Meenambakkam flyover, Film city where Robot taking apart parts of Chennai and abducting Aishwarya to his hideout in Siruseri IT park is the biggest comedy of all.
7) Rajini imitates his acting from his old film Moondru Mugam, the overall dialogues does not even last for two minutes, but a poor story line and plastic screen play makes it look needless and useless. The irony here being fans are making a big fuss over this acting, its a normal acting by any standards though it cannot save a weak movi

8) This movie does not needs songs, they are all big headaches inspite of heavy money spent on sets. Many Rajini fans are Raving about Rahman but in Reality I think some one would take his Oscars back if they dare watching this.
Aishwarya Rai's dancing and choreography being the worst points in all songs especially in picturization. I thought of running away from theatre during the Kilimanjaro songs and especially Aishwarya AUNTY jumping around like a deer/dove in the Arima song with MACHO MAN RAJNI all facial expressions hidden inside a low grade cooling glass. ALl songs were big let down and the climax song compounded the agony from the story perspective..Needless money wasted..Also i cannot hear the so called great BGM heard by Rajini fans, neither did it stand out...
Rajini has done reasonably well, but there are loads of places in scientist or as a Robot when looks a complete misfit.
The so called comedy scenes in the movies cannot generate a smile if you have a sane head but luckily they aint irritating but all serious scenes provide the comedy stuff.
Overall its a movie built to banking on the idiocy of Rajini fans..an attempt neither the South can be proud of, nor the north cannot ridicule.
Saving grace: Rajini Failure: Shankar has failed miserably, story screenplay and everything
Dasavathaaram in 2008 with 400 shows in chennai in opening weekend grossed 3.5 crores whereas Endhiran with 800 shows made only 2 crores.Considering the movie cost , It could be an Average grosser only.

dont please compare endhiran with low profile dasavatharam. Im not a fan of rajni. I like kamal as an actor.but pls dont compare this vth dasavatharam. endhiran is far far better than dasavatharam. I really got bored of dasavatharam after 45 min especially after the entrance of asin

Your intentions are very clear in the way you have written. Actually we should ask you to not compare Dasa with Endhiran or Sivaji. Kamal is ways ahead of Rajini in all aspects. So stop writing nonsense here. If you enjoy the movie, keep it with you and talk about the movie alone. Dont try to pull others. Infact what jaganKK is said is correct and we are also wondering about the figures.
1. south india contributes 25% of gdp though it is 20% of population..
2. south india is the main engine of growth in india with its IT secor that accounts for 51% of india's economy..
3. bangalore itself contributes 30% of IT revenue..
4. south india has the distinction of winning highest number of bharat ratnas, national awards and oscar awards..
5. south india has higher literacy rate than rest of india and produces 2lakhs engineers per year out of 5.5 lakhs engineers in india
6. As per latest stats, Tamil Nadu is the state with highest number of IAS passouts(refer 2008-2009 report GOI website for UPSC)
Why should south india with its immense financial, technological and cultural pelf be subjected to be tied down by under-developed and uneducated northies? why should nt we be given wings so that we can fly and be economically developed like first world?

northies..UP-bihar eats away our taxes with zero development, leading to large-scale migration to south..they also get more seats in parliament bcos of their population which is like penalizing south for controlling population

How long will you Northies expect South Indians to carry the burden of India on their shoulders? Until Narasimha Rao became PM all PMs were from North. India was the dirtiest, filthiest hell hole in the whole world. Narasimha Rao completely liberated India from the license Raj. He wanted a rubber stamp as finance minister. So he choose MMS. Northies felt jealous and voted Congress out of office. In Andhra Narasimha Rao won both the seats he stood in by a handsome margin. Foolish Northis voted for scum like Advani over Rao. Massive farmer suicide, Enron scam etc. all broke out. Despite second class treatment South Indians silently keep contributing to India. Most of Indian GDP from software. Most of IT people are South Indians. Now South India has produced India's best film ever. And yet Northies are rejecting it. If Northies showed same enthusiasm as South Indians Sankar's Robot can easily break Avatar record. My message to Northie - follow South Indians like Rao, Sankar etc. They will make India great. Reject Nrothies like Salman Khan, Lalu etc. they will lead you to disaster.
