Do not blame Rajini suresh, it was Shankars fault..
He tinkered with a script written by Sujatha, Kamal and Himself to suit Rajni and it killed the story.. Rajini has done reasonably well (WORSE AS A SCIENTIST AND SOME PORTION AS ROBOT ALSO IN SONGS) but acceptable.
I cannot believe a money of nearly 250 crore plus(Rajinis salary 30 crore on promotion Rs 190 crore) for this movie.

The biggest illogic i find in the movie is that....the so called Machine Robot appears like a man and walk, talk like the other scientist rajni. How is it possible?/Sankar made the audience fool by make to believe the above.

In terminator series they have done it, made it to believe but the screen play was also superb to match it...
But the irony about this Endhiran (Robot) being all comedy scenes can hardly create a smile if you remain sane...and all Serious scenes provide the comedy element.
Indian movies these days can spend the money of $7 Million (Budget of Terminator I) even if you multiply it by 7 or 8 to adjust inflation. Nearly 250 crore plus has been spent on this stupid movie called Endhiran but the weak story line and substandard graphics has made even the sets and fight sequences appeared in old Robo movies like THX 1198 and Terminator I made from paltry budgets look zillion times better.
The reason being, the protagonist role was well defined and the screen play was well thought in Hollwyood blockbusters..In Robots (Endhrians) case both were big let downs. This movie is specially designed banking on the stupidity of Rajini fans.

yes ...u r absolutely right. By the way ...anybody observing these days "headlines today" so called national news channel. They are showing this buffoon rajnikanth for almost 20 hrs in a day. Cannot stop laughing...these repeat telecasted programm. may be SUN Pict should have given them hefty amts. Comedy of this news channel is that if they promote ROBOT , thats ok..But they are trying to PORTRAY RAJNI as a demi god of entire india.

Ok Insane. We can understand now that you cant see a movie as a movie. Your senses suck. Please do a better movie than this and then start talking like a genius director. You cant even reach a millimeter of whatever Rajini/Shankar/Kalanidhi Maran/ Sabu Siril/Vairamuthu/AR Rahman/ Resul Pookutti/ Sujatha/ Aish/Danny etc. etc. oops why them.... not even Santhanam or KArunas... whoever has been abusing and insulting indian languages like hindi,tamil etc out here are rotten,shameless guys who have no idea what national pride is all about. India is a diverse land with multiple cultures,languages and traditions. That is something to be felt proud of and not a means of dividing people and spreading hated like some faggots have been doing for the last couple of days. When India got freedom people like Bhagat Singh,Mahatma Gandhi and Tantiya Tope fought together irrespective of where they came from. That's the idea of united India. But alas,some people just cannot live without creating hatred and spreading negativity.
Shankar has claimed its a dream project but in reality a big let down... 1) The Graphics provided in this film especially in climax are set to become an international joke in one or two years..
2) The dialogues are very plastic, Aishwarya Rai its the storyline that has morphed her poor acting, very animated. Shankar should've atleast portrayed a heavy storyline for the love triangle between the three. It would saved the film inspite of all the flaws. 3) Robot apparently need to fight with rowdies in side the train for 10 minutes, its a comical point in the film full of substandard graphics, but apparently it can take on hundreds of Military men and tanks and dispatch it without fuss. Are the audience idiots. 5) Rajini abducts Aishwarya Rai and needlessly destroys 100 cars, 200 motorcycles and 500 policemen, A B grade telugu film at its worst. but it provides the comedy element plus headache. 6)The veiws of Chennai, Robot taking apart parts of Chennai and abducting Aishwarya to his hideout in Siruseri IT park is the biggest comedy of all.. 7) Rajini imitates his acting from his old film Moondru Mugam, the overall dialogues does not even last for two minutes, but a poor story line and plastic screen play makes it look needless and useless.
8) This movie does not needs songs, they are all big headaches inspite of heavy money spent on sets. Many Rajini fans are Raving about Rahman but in Reality I think some one would take his Oscars back if they dare watchng this movie.

This movie is set to win critical acclaims and awards only from idiotic Rajni fans ala Village Pumpkins.. A strong story line has saved the film but not to a big extent...
OVERALL A BIG DISSAPOINTMENT, WASTAGE OF MONEY. FIT ONLY TO WET THE DREAMS OF SCHOOL CHILDREN BELOW 13 YEARS AND OFCOURSE IDIOTIC RAJINI FANS.

The so called comedy scenes in the first half would hardly trigger a smile if you choose maintain a sane head and not carried away....All the serious scenes provide the comedy element.

Let it be a super hit, but the fact is its a big let down.
Half baked script and poor dialogues make Endhiran a very normal entertainer. The entertainment factor is there and I'm sure it will be a hit amongst Indian audiences. But please Bun pictures / Shankar dont take it to any film festival as its not worth it.
Wow ! I can’t envisage a 61 yr old dancing on par n looking better than a former miss world..Vasi is at his absolute best, with the be ard tht gives a stylish but still intellectual look..
Hats of to Vasi’s sense of humour and insipid romanantic colour much needed for the character.
On the other hand Chitti is a SUPERSTAR! His coiffure, cat/moon walk, fights, dance, style cannot be matched. Audience at awe n all praise for chitti.
Albeit Shankar has to be given credit for the direction, thought provoking story and gluing the audience for 3 long hours and still not feeling captivated, I think the movie is fully on RAJINI sirs shoulders.
Ice-Wariya is a mere doll and paid hugely for a dull glamour.
The movie is all but RAJINI and I know I got my moneys worth. If the movie could be bettered that’s only possible by having RAJINI play Sana & Dr. Bora for I think both Aish & Danny had little to do and couldn’t keep upto the pace, grace, style enigma of RAJINI sir.
An ostentatious movie very well carried n steered by Shakar under RAJINI sir. The future generations to come can use this as their acting bible.
This is a humble way RAJINI sir answers those stupid idiotic jokers who try (but fail in all ways ) to make fun for sir’s style.
GO watch this movie not for anything but SUPERSTAR!!!
We didn't want to goto Endhiran movie however we all decided to go and have fun.
BIG MISTAKE!!! The movie was very bad...Rajni couldn't act or dance...he is talking only to mosquitos.
Aiswarya is utter waste in this movie...she was so nice in Raavan or Jodha Akbar
ARR music is very noisy...poor re-recording.
I expected a lot from Director Shankar but really disappointed. This is worse than Boys movie.
Its utter waste to have spent 160 crores for such a movie which did not have any story at all.
Viewers - Save the big bucks and wait for the prices to come down if you're really a hard fan else wait for SunTV to release the movie in their TV after a year or so.

I went to see this movie because my folks dragged me to. I am not a Rajni or Ash fan at all. Saw the reviews that it was good! I thought how good can it be to make me sit through all that!
BUT BUT BUT I was wrong! It is just too good. Rajni is superb..his acting is just so convincing. Every scene has a logic and dosent insult your intelligence. The Robot is believable...i wonder if anyone could have done it better than Rajni. Ash loooks beautiful...she can give any 20 yr old starlet a run for money! I AM A BIG RAJNI FAN now!
Please fellaws open your mind and accept this wonderful flick which can compete even with the best in hollywood! Must watch in a theater...I thank my folks from dragging me along ;-)

Hi priya..ASH looks like a good AUNTY. She is only better next to rajni. Else, Rajni looks so ugly (ofcourse inreal life he looks bad) inspite of the heavy makup. coming to story, The they showed ROBOT as a real man..which talks, walks as a real man. There is no diff between a real man and machine robot. I cannot understand this logic

Somehow, I noticed statements given by Suresh and TruthandFact seems like average Bollywood movie lovers.. Well, I not here to praise the movie title Enthiran as more praises from global audiences from countries like australia as well as malaysia.. But, a movie with such quality should be recommended with positive reviews regardless of which film industries..
I am not Hindi movie lover but I enjoy great efforts shown in movies like KKKG, Lagaan, Krish, Kisna, and Asoka..
Also, had great time watching tamil movies like Dasavataram, Heyram, Varanam Ayiram, Ayan, Enthiran, Shivaji, Anniyan, and Raavanan..
Remember that all movies we watch are merely for entertainment.. Strange that guys like Suresh and TruthandFact spent more time in giving negative views than necessary productive activities..

Dear Priya, When Mr Rajaji, Kamaraj, Raja Ram Mohan Roy, Dr BR Ambedkar were there was a strong belief, education can wipe away social evils and improve the taste of human beings. But over a period of time once education has become easy to acquire, its not hard to figure out education alone does not help the cause. A low grade audience always remains a low grade inspite of him/her having eduction.
Also Education does not provide Rational thinking. Its the gene that triggers that....You are beyond help sorry to say that, I am not disrespecting the taste of Rajini fans, but to rave about this movie is simply idiotic.
