the movie is simply superb and hrithik is GOD. if it doesnt work at box office then it would be shame for the cinema audiences which can make a blockbuster of some spoofy mindless, all gags movie and doesnt understand this classic performance from all in Guzaarish!!!!! go c this for an experience of lifetime....kudos to HRITHIK.....HOLLYWOOD AND THE WORLD CINEMA NEEDS YOU.....

SLB only makes films with grand sets and designer clothes, but no good story or acting, even his devdas had scenes ripped off from pakizah,lol he is just a copy cat
We live in era where art is considered as mistress of entertainment. If art satisfies the audience's pulse for entertainment then it is applauded as good art otherwise not. It is the biggest fallacy of our times. Guzarish is a poem of emotions or an ode to death. Million Dollars Baby - which is even more pessimistic and slow than Guzarish - won Oscars. How story of a person whose life is more terrible than death can be entertaining? I think that SLB even tried to compromise with the treatment of subject by keeping Indian audience in mind and that is only flaw in movie. he tried to even entertain through sadness, which should have been avoided. I feel that SLB should not have compromised with honesty. But still it is an encouraging and good attempt. I want to suggest everyone to watch Guzarish as an art not just another block of entertaining cinema. Movies of Guru Dutt could manage to get applause and critical acclaims with the passage of time. Same is going to be the fate with Guzarish and other such movies.

Well, I watched the movie...except the brilliant performance by Hrithik ..i would say...I almost dozed off during the movie....
SLB is a wanna-be. Rediff pl take back your words you guys should never have put slb and guru dutt on the same page jesus christ whats wrong with you get a grip!
the movie is bad. well acted ..YES, well Shot..YES. but well made.. No. the director didnt know what he was trying to show.. in one scene we are told that Hrithik's character is under a lot of debt that he is not able to pay 2 month's salary to aishwarya. despite the fact he has 4 assistants, operates a radio station, goes through dialysis every week. has a personal doctor.. will Mr bhansali mind telling the audience how is he paying for all that stuff???? the new actress some dutta, has only one single scene in the movie. was that scene required??? no... why was the character of makrand deshpande introduced at the end??? i find no reason in it.... it was a poorly scripted film. it seems Mr Bhansali makes films only for himself. it is no opera going on sir... you have to entertain... and comparing guzaarish with such classics is completely wrong. tose movies are in a totally different league

Brilliant movie. Hats off to everyone involved in the making of such a fantastic movie. I have not seen any movie better than Guzaarish this year till date. I was eagerly waiting for it and it managed to surpass my expectations. I feel sorry for SLB, despite giving his heart and soul to the movie, it did not work at the box office.
