Other serials showing torture of women should also come under the IB scanner. And who says that children would not watch TV at 11pm? In India (mostly in metros) very rarely children sleep early. Plus all these shows can be viewed on the Net

True, many of the regular serials use abusive language and are telecast at the prime time when Children watch. Children also get bad ideas from watching these serials.
This is the biggest joke. In todays world, the most important and accessable ting in this world is mobiles. And with gprs and blue tooth, everything is available on mobile. Then why is it that we are going after these channels. Lets face it...we cant protect our younger onces by just banning the programs. Its a total crap. They will switch over to internets and watch it....Then whats da point?? This is not about only tv programmes. Even the movies made today are vulgar. Almost all films have one or more explict scene. And they are even premiring on TV. SO, what all will you stop?? Todays kids are intelligrnt enough. They will watch these programmes, but know very well that these all are only for entertainment. Banning is not a solution for. Let them decied.

Movies had vulgar things since they day they were made in this country. A lot of people our grandfathers generation enjoyed the peliv jerks and hipsways of actresses/vamps like Helen.

In that case we should provide them access all the porn movies and cartoon movies and educating DVDs and let them decide. They are quite intelligent. Right??? A six year old knows exactly what to watch and what not to.
I welcome the step taken by Govt. But it will be better if these programes along with Emotional Atyachar, Splitvilla should be banned. Also put scanner on channels like MTV,Bindas & Channel V.
Think we should rate the shows instead,PG/A/PG-13/15 etc.So this pushes the onus onto the parents to take care that their kids watch the right programs. Since that does not happen,agree with pushing such crap shows to 11 PM

PEOPLE WHO CAN TAKE IT WITHOUT GETING EFECTED, CAN WATCH IT. FINALLY, IF PEOPLE STOP WATCHING IT, TRP WILL FALL, AND THE PROGRAM WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY TAKE OFF AIR. WHAT IS TH PROBLEM. Kids can be told to not watch these shows by parents or even by blocking the channels at home but they will go to school where other kids will be discussing this nonsense.
it is very good step by govt. that change time of those progrems ( big boss & rakhi ka insaf) both the programes have very adult content in it & can't watchable with kids & with elder persons, it is realy admireable step.

govt should ban the news channels too, which are airing Bigg boss all the day to gain the TRP.
But since them Colors has made it a complete crap. In second and third season good use was made of abusive language.
This season has crossed all limits. Yesterday my 2 year old was scared after watching all the shouting.
What kind of relationships they are trying to project? A girl calls a person Pops and at the same time she is sitting in his lap and he is smelling her hair. Not to forget she got married to her HUSBAND 3 days back.
I have decided to stop watching the show from now on. Better to watch KBC where the anchor is epitome of humility.

Totally, Agree with your views. Such Programs which have been devised to increase TRP of Channel should be banned. I suggest producer of this Show should be asked to stop airing such "FALTU and BAKWASS" Show by the Government with immediate effect. I think actors participating in this show are showing their frustration which is in their personal life. I feel pity for them. This show is not the dias to show such negativeness of themselves.
