Kites grosses over Rs 60 crore in three days Rakesh Roshan has hit out at the critics of Hrithik Roshan starrer 'Kites' saying despite poor reviews, the film has grossed over Rs 60 crore in the first three days of its release.Kites grosses over Rs 60 crore in three days.On the first day, the movie grossed Rs 21 crore. On Saturday, it earned Rs 20 crore and then on Sunday the collections increased by another Rs 21 crore," producer Rakesh Roshan told reporters.The total three-day box-office collections, therefore, stand at Rs 62 crore.

wake up dude its 36 crore till tuesday. On tuesday done the business of 2 cr 65 lkh only, which is 1 crore less then monday. Distributor rights has been sold at 150 crore. In India it will stuggle to make 50 crore even.

Believe, Sajid's word seems to be true. Till today, MNIK had collected 73 crores ( 8 weeks), Housefull has already collected 69 crores in just 3 weeks, and heading towards the biggest HIT of the year. And, after -ve reports coming from people, it has been very cleared that Housefull will be the biggest HIT of the year, may be any other Akki movies give good fight, or else chances are very much like.

First of all Housefull is projected to end around 70 Cr net in India. Secondly you forgot to add MNIK made around 85 Cr net overseas whereas Housefull made around 20 Cr only. So MNIK remains biggest hit though some big films are coming like Rajneeti which may become bigger.

MNIK has made 74 crore. Till now Housefull has made 67 crore. In most of the cinemas shows has limited to 1 or 2.May crossed MNIK but sure to be not with big margin. Though tough one.

hi mate...good to see u back here...sorry MNIK collected 200 crores at box office...check a valid site called boxofficeindiadot com...it was sold for 98 crores...and it is highest grossing film outside india...these are figures listed at valid sites like i mentioned above...not talking in thin air u know.

the pattern that MBNIK followed in India Kites is facing the same thing.
MNIK made all teh money overseas, and Kites might do the same. We need to wait and watch.

as usual u fail to see the details. MNIK was sold for 98 crores and made 200 crores worldwide..it can't be seen as bombed which was your statement above...while Kites has been sold for Rs.150 crores and even if it makes 100 crores it will be called a flop...seeing the poor response to it in opening weekend despite running 20 shows a day in some multiplexes, one can safely conclude that its on its way to becoming a flop...please try to analyze the details of every film instead of skimming the surface which you are guilty of.

MNIK was not written off..it was reported that the fall during the weekdays was quiet steep from its first weekend response which was phenomenal...as per boxofficeindiadotcom MNIK collected 73 crores net abroad and 73 crores net in India....how does this prove that it made more money overseas? don't propagate myths here.

hi.. how mxuh u love SRK. Admire u. But this is review from US for Hrithik. Nonetheless, it’s the sort of Bollywood/Hollywood hybrid that should find a big audience and make Hindi megastar Hrithik Roshan as big here as he is there. The actor, who will remind you of Bradley Cooper, inspires a fan frenzy known as Hrithikmania in India.

Kites is a wonder to look at. It’s a very different experience in the cinema. You never really forget that you’re watching a movie and you can’t overlook the element of fromage, but that doesn’t mean you won’t like it.

Prince is a semi hit and a tight scripted movie with hollywood superb actions and this analyst Vinod Mirani is not finding anything positive in it .May be he likes dostana kind of movies.
